The...Warnings?

No one's P.O.V

The reunion ended,and everyone had left except for Natsu's parents.

 "So, you gonna tell us your earnings now?" Lucy asked, holding Happy in her lap on the sofa.

 "What?! We're talking top them now?!" Igneel yelled, not knowing that Grandine had told them.

 "When else ate we going to tell them?! It's now, or we let them live a miserable life because we weren't good parents and warn them about the future." 

 Igneel stared at her. His eyes were clearly setting through her little lie.

 "That's your second conversation you want to have with them. You just don't want to tell them what you really want to talk about." He smirked, knowing exactly what she wanted to talk to them about. Grandine became flustered and turned around.

 "Ok. Maybe that's my real reason I want to talk to them, but still, we should warn them. No one warned us, and we were on the brink of divorce."

 "I guess you're right. And your reason had a play into that."

 "Hello?! We're still here you know!" Natsu pointed out, waning his hand at them as if they didn't see them.

 "Ah. Sorry. Igneel, you want to start, or me?" Grandine said, looking back at them.

 "I'll start." Igneel said, getting comfy on a chair.

"These warnings we're going to tell you, ate going to be things that could possibly lead into a divorce, no matter how much you love each other, and just like you heard your mother said, we were almost in one because no one warned us." He started. Lucy and Natsu say quietly, posting attention to these warnings.

"The first one is money. As newly weds, money is a struggle, and I'm surprised that money hadn't affected you yet."

Natsu and Lucy gave each other a worried glance.

"I wouldn't say that hasn't affected us yet." Natsu said. 

Flashback of Lucy and Natsu's - ( flashback still no one's P.O.V)

"Natsu, the bank called again! We're late on another payment." Lucy yelled from the kitchen.

"Which payment is it this time?!" Natsu yelled from upstairs, coming downstairs

"The water bill. They said that we still owe 350 dollars by next week, or they cut off our water supply." Lucy said, holding out the papers for Natsu to see. He snatched them from her hand and ruffled his fingers through his hair, letting out a deep breath.

"I don't get paid until next month, and you don't have a job. We hardly have enough money to keep this house, and I can't sell this house! Not with all of the memories here. Not with all the... Bad memories." Lucy said, het mind freezing at the thought of that.

"Don't think pod on it Lucy. You know what it does to you. As for the bill, Well have to use some of the savings we have." Natsu said, not liking the solution.

"What?! Are you serious?! We can't use that! It's called savings for a reason!" Lucy yelled, getting up from her chair.

"Do you have any other ideas?! If you want to keep the house, then we'll have to use our savings to pay this off! Otherwise, we don't pay, let them but off our water supply until you get your payment, and then pay them back, but by then, we'll have a fine to pay since we'll be late. Which do you like better? " Natsu explained.

"Or you can find a small babysitting job to get the last hundred bucks we need!" Lucy retorted.

 "Lucy! We have no other choice! This is this only way, and I can't just 'find' a job like that!"

 They both remained silent for the rest of that night.

Flashback over

"Well, I bet that experience was painful. Especially for you two setting as you're close to each other than normal couples."

"It was. Luckily we got that paid off, just or savings account became empty after that " Lucy said, awkwardly laughing.

"We're doing better now though. Lucy got promoted recently and that resulted into higher pay for her. " Natsu said.

"What's your job Lucy? You never told anyone you even had one!" Grandine shrieked.

"Just as an apprentice manager at a small, family restaurant. Nothing special." Lucy answered with a smile.

"What's the second warning?" Natsu pressed on.

They say and talked about the several things that could happen and have a negative effect on their marriage. Once Igneel finished talking with them, Grandine got her turn.

"Now I want to talk to you treo about something that I don't know if you're ready for, but I'm getting old and I can't wait!" She said, getting excited at the thought.

Oh no. I see where this is going! Both Natsu and Lucy thought in horror.
