Saved (Jikook au)

"Are you the other vampire? Jungkook has mentioned a few times that there are others I know but won't tell me who it is" I replied with a slight pout at the end

"No I'm not a vampire, but before you got here we agreed that I would be the one to tell you, just in case you have any questions and so you don't feel any pressure to be okay with it all"

"Okay... who is it?"

"So, I'm obviously human, and I am Jun's smell, so I'm also his source of blood" he pulled up his sleeve to show a fairly new bite mark on his arm, my eyes widened but relaxed once I saw him smile at me "and then Jin is a vampire as well, with Namjoon being his smell and also source of blood. So in this room, the vampires are Jungkook, Tae, Jin and Jun" I looked around the room and although I knew they had all heard the conversation they acted normal which I appreciated as I would feel intimated if they were all looking at me

"Would any of them ever hurt us?"

"No definitely not, it goes against everything about them. For example, if Tae was to hurt me, Jun would have the right to kill Tae, since he hurt his smell, or otherwise known as soulmate. But it's not called that very often, people just call it their smell"

"So if one vampire hurts another's smell, they can kill them, just like that? And nothing would be done about it?"

"That's exactly how it works. So that also means that since you're Jungkook's smell, you're pretty much guaranteed eternal safety" he said whilst finishing his drink.

"Is it bad that I really like that?"

"No. I love it. I like knowing Jun will go to any extreme to protect me" he smiled

"Does it not hurt when you get bit?"

"Not at all, I like the feeling of it. I like knowing that I'm the reason my boyfriend survives, I like being his literal life source. I think it feels quite nice being bitten, which is weird I know. It feels strange at first, but I found myself wanting him to bite me. Now he'll drink from me everyday, meaning he only needs a little bit at a time and his strength stays the highest it can"

"Can I see it again? The bite mark..."

"Sure" he rolled his sleeve up to let me have another look. I pulled his arm closer to look at the puncture wounds, they were only two small dots were Jun's fangs had pierced the skin, similar to Hoseok's "What are you thinking?" He asked

"I don't even know anymore, this is all just so much to take in"

"I know, it is a lot. I'm always here to ask any questions to though"

"Thank you... what does Jun say you smell like?"

"His favourite soaps and perfumes all blended into the one perfect combination" he looked up at Jun and I caught them smile at each other

"Do you love him?"

"With all my heart, every inch of me belongs to him and I wouldn't have it any other way"

I looked at Jungkook and saw he had fell asleep on the sofa, I chuckled and stood up to guide him into the bed we've been staying in.

"Do vampires ever get sick?" I asked and was almost immediately answered with a head shake

"No. I've never known a vampire to get sick"

"Hm..." I sighed and looked at Jungkook "he just doesn't seem himself

"Just talk to him. Sometimes it can be tiring if they have to protect us all the time. But... talk to him. Could be tired, could be something else" he smiled. I nodded and thanked him.
