Saved (Jikook au)

Part 21

Jungkook's lips felt warm and comforting against mine. I knew he would be able to feel the slight nervousness I had surrounding the situation and he was handling it the best way he could. He tightened his arms around me and carried me back to the bed, pulling a cover over us and forming a warm bubble for just us.

"You know you don't have to do this? You can say no..."

"I know I can, I just feel like this is the right thing to do. I mean why would I not want to do this, I get to spend forever with you... it would make your parents happy, it wo-"

"Wait... are you doing this just to make my parents happy? Baby, no you have to do this for you and no one else"

"I'm not doing it for your parents, I'm doing it for us Jungkookie. I want us to be together forever"

"My parents wouldn't mind if you wanted to stay human you know"

"I know... I'm not doing it for them" I reassured him. He made a 'hm' noise in acknowledgment and pulled my head into his neck.

"I'm a little excited for you to drink from me, I can't lie about that"

"It'll be strange..."

"Drinking from me?"

"Well everything... but mainly going from being Jimin the human who cant fight back to Jimin the vampire who can kill you in a second"

"I don't think you're going to become a killing machine" he chuckled whilst pulling me in closer "I understand what you're trying to say though, you'll always be my little squishy baby no matter what" he said with a giggle and I could feel him smiling against my forehead

"Would never have thought you would've either though"

"I suppose, but even as a human I was a mess. My vampire side just brought that out even more. You're so solid and secure in who you are that when you do become a vampire, you'll be so stable and fine"

I woke up to the sound of Jungkook laughing with Tae and Hoseok in the kitchen. I rolled out of bed and stumbled my way into the kitchen, pulling my hoodie up to block the bright lights from my eyes. I saw Jungkook's tall frame huddled over the counter whilst reading something on his phone and stuck an arm out for me without looking up when he smelt me walk in. I walked into his open embrace and rest my head on his shoulder. He kissed my cheek gently whilst still reading the message, I looked down and saw it was from 'Mum'. I wondered if it was his vampire mum or human mum. I read the message with him and saw they were talking about bites so I assumed it was his vampire mum

~is everything okay?~ I asked him through my thoughts from still being too sleepy to speak

~yeah baby, just making sure I do everything right later. You still want to do it right?~

~more than anything. What if you do it wrong?~

~I definitely won't do it wrong, if I had any doubt about it I wouldn't do it. I just want to double check~ he explained and I just nodded and kissed his neck before getting a glass of water. I saw Hoseok by the sink and gave him a quick back hug, making him jump a little

"Jimin! I didn't hear you walk in, good morning" he said and kissed my hair. I smiled at him and got a glass of water before reaching up and kissing his cheek good morning back. I walked back over to Jungkook, downing the glass of water before nestling into his arms again. I felt his chest vibrate from laughing and I looked at him with wide eyes

"Were you thirsty? I've never seen you drink so much so fast" he laughed again and I just smiled and nodded, once again being too sleepy to use words yet. After a few minutes more I felt a harsh shiver run over me and I whimpered slightly without realising, I saw Jungkook look at me through the corner of my eye and I just looked at him and smiled
