"A little to the left... okay, slightly more right. No, to the right... Not that much. Okay wait, that's perfect," Char said.
I stepped down from the step-ladder and took a few steps back, admiring the last framed photo I'd hung up. It was a candid shot of Char and I last Fourth of July in Indiana. The absolute joy and easy bliss that radiated from the memory attached to the photo made the living room feel even warmer; more homely.
Char and I had spent the last two weeks decorating and moving her in to my house.
