Unpredictable ~ Chapter 15.

-Y/N's POV-
I sat by Yuu's bed staring at his comatose state, lost in my thoughts.

What did Guren mean exactly by the tension between the Ichinose and Hiragi family spoke volumes? Did they force them into human experimentation? It's likely that was what had happened.

The door opened and Shinoa entered, "Oh, Y/N." She grabbed another chair and sat by him,

"When's he going to wake up?" I asked,

"Guren said it'll be 5 days." She stared at Yuu blankly,

"Hm, have you been watching over Yuu?"

"Well..." she blushed,

"So you like him?" I teased further,

"Where did you get that from?" She scoffed, flustered,

"I can tell. Also Guren told me."

"Of course he did, what does he know?" She rolled her eyes,

"So this was the work of Guren, huh?" I referred to Yuu,

"Yes, but he won't tell me much."

"Me neither. Shinoa, why did Guren start human experimentation?"

Shinoa seemed to think for a moment, "It was quite a while ago, some of the members of the moon demon company were taken by the Hiragi's as test subjects." She finally said, "At the time the moon demon company had refused to do human experimentation but Guren and one of his scientists gave themselves up and I guess the policy eventually became void."

I sighed, "I got mad at Guren for using Yuu as a test subject." I confessed,

"Ah." Shinoa turned to me, "It's fine I guess. Knowing Yuu he'd agree to it in a heartbeat." She rolled her eyes,

"He said the same thing but...he's still a kid and he doesn't know. It just doesn't sit right with me."

"I can't say I agree with Guren's methods but he usually does think over these kind of things carefully."

"Hm."

"This may be hard for you to believe as you haven't known Guren for as long; but he isn't the heartless loser you think he is."

I laughed, "Well...it's not as if I think of him like that entirely."

"Sure, sure. But in all seriousness, Guren cares a lot about his comrades. He wouldn't even let Yuu join the moon demon company until he made a friend because he mostly emphasises on family and team work."

"I kinda feel bad now." I sighed,

"No need to, he won't hold it against you." Shinoa chuckled, "Besides I'm sure he sees where you're coming from- he was once against human experimentation too."

"You're right." I stood up, stretching, "Anyway I'm going to give you your alone time with Yuu, see you."

"Alone time?" She questioned as I walked out the door,

"Yup, don't have too much fun now!" I slowly closed the door, and was able to hear her mutter, "What fun is there to be had?" I chuckled.

I went to find Shinya. My first assumption was he'd be in his office so that's where I went.
On my way I was surprised to notice that a lot of the areas were quiet and peaceful.

It wasn't long before I was outside Shinya's office door; I knocked "Lord Shinya?" I cooed sarcastically,

"Go away, Y/N." I heard from behind the door,

I giggled and entered anyway as I opened the door I saw Shinya pointing his gun at me, it didn't faze me however and I closed the door behind me,

"Woah tiger, lower the gun."
