Unpredictable ~ Chapter 40, part 2.

-Y/N's POV-
"Ladies, I'm afraid my time here has once again come to an end." Kai announced as he was returning back to help the demon army,

I had been here for 3 weeks now, and it turns out that it was a regular thing for Kai to stay for 2 or 3 days before leaving for the army for a while.  As there was currently no war, he'd stay for only a short time before returning to torment the girls again.

The days before he left seemed to be the happiest for the girls; large sighs were heard across the room as he made his heartbreaking announcement, "Don't be sad, my poor damsels in distress, I'll be back before you know it."

"That's the exact reason why we're in distress." Ira muttered, causing the rest of the girls to groan in agreement,

Kai took no notice of her words and instead continued, "I'll miss each and every one of you as much as you'll miss me-"

"That's rude." Lilith faked a hurt expression,

I stifled a laugh at her passive aggressiveness, as Kai continued to ignore the very audience he was addressing,

"He's acting as if he's going for a year..." Takana muttered, rather exasperated,

"Come on Kai, you're going to be late." Miya patted his back guiding him to the door,

"Late? If anything I'll be early, I only start work tomorrow."

"Don't be silly, you have to go back today don't you?"

"Well yes, but not right now."

"Oh, isn't more commendable if you get there early? I'm sure Master Guren would be pleased."

"Really?" He muttered,

"Of course, you're showing dedication and that's admirable."

"Hm, I guess you're right." He replied almost like a gullible child, causing me to almost burst out laughing,

"Of course, I am. Have a safe journey, all right?" Miya smiled, waving,

"Okay~" he replied as Miya closed the door and locked it,

"Thank you for your services Miya." Naomi nodded,

Ira cheered loudly, "Ok, ladies. Freedom!" She ran into the livingroom as the others cheered after her.

I felt his soft lips against mine as his hands roamed my body, I was in a state of bliss, savouring his warm touch,

His head moved to the side of my neck, leaving soft pecks on my skin, I felt his hands trail down to the hem of my shirt, before trailing back up behind the cloth to caress my bare skin. His teasing was too much for me, after being separated from him for a long time, the longing I had for him was intense. I couldn't take it anymore, I wanted him.

"Guren..." I whined,

"Hm?" I heard right beside my ear, but it sounded too real and clear to be a dream,

I opened my eyes, feeling a pair of muscular arms wrapped around my waist as well as a hard chest against my back, I turned my head to find Guren in the flesh, staring at me in amusement, with his lips attached to my shoulder.
