Unpredictable ~ Chapter 33. [Please read afternote at the end]

-Guren's POV-
"Please sit." Kureto gestured to the seat in his grand office, it really must be nice being a Hiragi,

"I'd rather not, I want to make this quick." I remained standing,

"Is this about your friends?" He asked, seeming uninterested,

"So you know already?" I raised an eyebrow,

"Of course, you're here to convince me, right?" He stopped writing, "Alright then, let's see what you have." He concentrated on me,

"What do you want?" I asked not having anything in mind to propose,

"I think you know already."

"You're not getting Y/N, she's not an object or a possession and I wish you'd not treat her like such."

"Well then, I guess we have nothing left to discuss." He faked disappointment,

I stared at him, he had something more to say, "Is that it?"

"You have good sense, no it's not. Your friends will be released; I guess you could say I already have what I wanted."

"Why didn't you say that in the first place?" I rolled my eyes, despite trying to wrap my head around the possible connotations behind what he said,

"You should meet your friends."

"Yeah, yeah." I waved him off casually, despite the dread that was slowly filling me.

I found Shinya sitting in his cell, he looked up at me and then looked back down, he seemed irritated. I knew he was mad at me the first time I visited him here, he demanded answers but in all honesty I had little to none to give him and that only pissed him off even more.

I unlocked his cell with the guard's keys, he just looked at me.

"When you're done sulking meet me outside."

"Where are you going?" He finally spoke,

"To free the others?" I said before walking off to find the others.

Unlike Shinya Sayuri and Shigure seemed fairly happy to see me, Mito and Goshi were relieved but they too also wanted answers.

I sighed, "Mahiru and Kureto..." I began, walking ahead of them,

"What about them?" Shinya said harshly,

"They have the same goal, to complete the seraph of the end."

"Is that why you helped Kureto, when you were possessed?" Mito asked quietly,

"Yes. It seems like it. I don't really remember much from then that's why I don't have much answers. I'm sorry." I apologised,

"What did Kureto mean by 'which personality'" Shinya suddenly asked,

"That..." that was something I really didn't want to share with them,

"That's what?" Shinya pushed, "You still want to hide stuff from us, Guren?"

"Calm down, Shinya." Goshi patted him in the back,
