Unpredictable ~ Chapter 26, Part 1.

A/N: I'm not so sure if this'll be necessary considering the context but this chapter does include a tiny bit of self-harm but not because of depression or anything else relating to mental health. I just thought I should put this here just in case it would trigger someone, I feel much better being more sure that at least there's a warning so less people will be upset. "Norito..."

"Yes cutie?"

I nearly snorted at the eye roll Sayuri gave before continuing, "Shinoa's squad are also there, I think they're attempting to rescue Guren-Sama and Shinya-Sama."

"Perfect, that'll work as a good distraction." He replied,

-Stop reading here if uncomfy-

"So how are we gonna separate them?" I queried,

Everyone was silent for a while as no one could think of a plan, until a sudden idea came to mind.

"Has anyone got anything sharp?" I asked, walking to the corner behind the 2 vampires,

"Here catch." Shigure tossed me a kunai which I caught by the handle, before cutting the palm of my hand with the sharp end.

"Y/N!" I heard the rest of the squad whisper yell behind me but I ignored them,

I peered round the corner and saw all 3 vampires engage in conversation, most likely due to the sudden new scent of blood; while Crowley still held off Shinoa's squad. I then saw the 2 girls nod before walking towards my direction.

I began running backwards but knew I'd still get caught, the rest of the squad realised my sudden retreat and readied themselves.

It all happened in a blur as I was pinned to the wall by my neck at a great force, I winced, "Not again." I muttered to myself before I raised my gaze to make eye contact with the purple haired vampire.

"Oi, Horn! I found a human." She called, as the blonde vampire emerged from round the corner,

"Hm, you look really young. I would ask how old you are but you're probably like 850 years old." I frowned at the vampire who I remembered was Chess Belle,

"Hey I'm not that old!"

"Anyways can you let me go now?" I smiled at her,

"Oh, I can't do that I came to drink your blood." She smiled back at me,

"Oh." I held up my palm to her face, "Here you go then!"

Her face lit up at my injured hand, "Can I?" She asked excitedly,

"Can I go when you're done?"

"Well I have a friend I should share with..."

I moved my head and acted confused, "Friend? What friend?" I scrunched my eyebrows even though I knew Goshi, Mito and Sayuri had already diverted her attention and were fighting elsewhere,

Chess glanced behind her shoulder and saw her partner was no where to be found, as she did that I got explosive fuda ready,

"Horn?" She asked confused,

I looked over to Shigure who nodded, "Well Chess-chan it was really nice talking to you, maybe you can drink my blood another time."

"Huh?" She cocked her head in confusion just as I threw the fuda at her, her eyes widened and in an attempt to dodge it she let go of me, I leaped out of the way next to Shigure.
