"Burn in hell Sadie!"

"Why would I want to be in the same place as you?!" Clint glared at me from across the living room as I sat on the couch with my arms crossed. Tony walked in, saw Clint and I's silent death match and just stood there.

"Who did it?" he asked finally.

        "He did!"

"She did!" Tony sighed and rested his head in his hand. He walked over and sat down next to me. I immediately leaned into him and rested my head on his chest.

"It was my fault." I whispered as he kissed the top of my head.

"What was?" he asked softly as he motioned for Clint to leave.

"I accidentally broke the coffee thingy." Tony turned me to face him and he looked really confused.

"What's the coffee thingy?" he asked gently. I bit my lip as I tried to think of the name.

"The thing that you pour the stuff into and then press the buttons to make the coffee appear." Tony's eyes widened and he looked to Clint who still hadn't left the room.

"Does she mean the coffee machine?!" he asked frantically. I blushed bright red as Clint nodded. Tony groaned and I hung my head dejectedly.

"I'm sorry Daddy." I whispered. Tony smiled slightly at me and pulled me into a hug.

"It's OK Sweetheart." he said gently "Wait, you don't even drink coffee! Why were you touching the machine?" I nervously tucked a strand of hair behind my ear before answering.

"I wanted hot chocolate." I muttered. Tony started cracking up and even Clint fought back a smile.

"Ask for help next time." he said in amusement.

"Yes sir." I said in embarrassment. Tony kissed my forehead and walked to the kitchen to start fixing the machine. Clint moved to take Tony's place and I stared stonily straight ahead.

"Come on Kid." he said pleadingly "Please talk to me." I turned to glare at him.

"This is all your fault." I snapped. Clint sighed and begrudgingly handed me twenty dollars. I immediately perked up and gave him a hug.

"Thanks for taking the blame." he said quietly.

"Next time, just ask how to use the coffee machine." I said with a smirk. Clint rolled his eyes, but smiled as I curled into his side.

"I love you Sadie." he said softly.

        "I love you too Clint."

"But you do know that you're ten minutes late for training with Steve, right?"

"Shit."

"Faster Sadie! If you're not dying, you're not doing it right!" I moaned as I came into the finish line after my tenth lap. Steve was waiting for me at the end and he was fighting back a smile.

"God I hate running." I choked out as I flopped onto the ground "Just because we have a giant workout room, doesn't mean we have to use it." Steve shook his head and picked me up.

"If you run more, you might actually like it." he pointed out as he carried me upstairs.

"I'm good." I mumbled as my head drooped onto his shoulder. Steve chuckled softly and kissed the top of my head. Everyone else had gone on either a mission or some meeting, so Steve was left babysitting me.

"Go take a shower," he said as he set me down in my room "then come downstairs and we'll go out for ice cream."

"Yay!" I cheered as I scrambled to my feet. All the energy surged back into my body as the promise of ice cream hung in the balance.

"Sadie you're going to get a brain freeze!"

"I never get bra- ow!" I clutched my head as a burning cold swept over me. Steve burst out laughing and I glared at him.

"I told you." he said smugly.

"God," I moaned as my head throbbed "this is how it ends. I'm seeing the white light!" The pain started to finally subside and I sagged in relief. "You know," I said thoughtfully "you're one of the first people I've met who has no problems eating ice cream during Winter."

"Ice cream is a year round food." Steve said dismissively. I giggled as I finished eating my "all year round" treat. I laughed even harder when I saw Steve had ice cream on his face. "Did I get it on me?" he asked with a smile.

"I'm tempted to say no just so I can watch you walk around like that." I admitted. Steve gasped in mock offense and, before I knew what had happened, a ball of snow hit me right in my face. "Not nice." I muttered as I brushed the snow off my face. Steve was cracking up as I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Real mature Sadie." he said with a smile as he stood and helped me up. I smacked his arm playfully, but I was laughing too hard to be mad.

"Thanks for bringing me out here." I said as we started to head back to the tower "Even though it feels like twenty below zero, I still had fun." Steve chuckled softly and picked me up so that I was wrapped in his jacket with him.

"Now it's only ten below zero." he teased. I giggled quietly and snuggled against him as we arrived at the tower. Steve sat down on the couch and held me tightly.

"Thanks for hanging out with me Steve." I whispered "I love you." He kissed the top of my head with a smile.

        "I love you too Sadie."
