"Sadie! If you're not down here in five minutes I'm eating your breakfast!" I groaned tiredly, but stumbled out of my bed and towards the kitchen where the rest of the team was waiting.

"I don't want to be awake." I griped as I hopped onto the kitchen counter.

"And I don't want your butt on the counter." Tony chastised "Looks like we're both disappointed." I rolled my eyes and slid onto the floor where I sat and looked up at the team tiredly.

"You look so pitiful." Clint teased as he sat at the table "Like a kicked puppy or something." Bucky walked over and looked at me sadly while I lifted my arms up, silently begging him to carry me. He shook his head in amusement and picked me up as I rested my head on his shoulder and let my eyes flutter closed.

"Goddammit Sadie, you're making me feel bad!" Tony protested. I giggled as Tony kissed my forehead and ruffled my hair with a small smile. Eventually, Bucky carried me over to the table and set me down so I could eat my breakfast.

"So..." he suddenly stated, the rest of the team all looking everywhere but at the two of us "the secretary is coming by to visit the tower which means those of us who didn't sign the accords can't be here while he is." I glanced over at Tony who was determinedly not meeting my gaze "The Accords may have been set aside for now, but it's probably best that we're not in the same place as him."

"I just got back home yesterday!" I exclaimed "What the Shit?!" No one scolded my use of language, but I saw Steve frown in my direction.

"Котенок, it's not going to be like this forever." Bucky whispered "The accords are still pretty new, but the heat will die off after a while and then it'll go back to normal." I didn't say anything and just crossed my arms moodily.

"It's just for a few days Sadie." Pietro piped up "We'll come back after we're sure the secretary's gone and by then everything should be like it used to."

"Great." I mumbled "I'll just go repack my bag that I just unpacked last night. Someone come and get me when we're leaving."

        "Котенок?"

"Yeah, come in." I called from my thinking place. Also known as under my bed. Bucky walked in and sat down on the floor beside my bed, waiting for me to say something.

"Are you going to come out, or are you going to make me crawl under there?" he asked resignedly.

"Considering I'm still under the bed, what do you think?"

"I don't recall asking for you to cop an attitude with me." Bucky snapped as he struggled to fit under the bed.

"And I don't recall asking to be thrown out of the house every few days for some adult shit I don't care about." I growled as he finally made it under the bed and gave me a look of disapproval. Bucky and I remained in a silent glaring match until tears started welling up in my eyes and I rolled over so that I wasn't looking at him.

"Do you want to talk to me or not?" Bucky questioned, still sounding slightly angry at my behavior. When I tried to speak, only stifled sobs came out and Bucky was left in silence when he realized I was crying. He sighed heavily and pulled me into a reassuring hug. "You're OK Kiddo." he murmered gently "Calm down, everything's going to be alright."

"H-How do you k-know?" I choked out as Bucky held me tightly and smoothed my hair back.

"I don't." he admitted "But I'm dating Natasha, so I have hope." I giggled slightly and snuggled into Bucky's side, trying to stop my tears from flowing.

        "I don't like leaving." I whimpered.

"Neither do I. It's just something we have to do."

"See you guys in a few days!" I waved goodbye to Tony, Natasha, Rhodey, and Vision as I followed the others out of the tower. We were just going to go somewhere slightly off the grid. Not Clint's house, because his kids were sick and we didn't want to put too much stress on Laura. Steve was suggesting Alaska, but I was really hoping he was kidding.

"Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?"

"PIETRO I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL SHOOT YOUR FREAKING FACE OFF!" Everyone gave Pietro and I a wide berth as he quickly shut up. "Thank you." I huffed. Pietro gave a weak thumbs up and remained silent.

"And to answer Pietro's question," Steve called "We are five minutes out."

"Who is this guy that we're staying with again?" Bucky asked curiously. Sam visibly tensed up and turned to face us.

"Some guy that I know." he said evasively. I knew there was more than he was letting on, but he was so nervous that I just didn't want to push him too far.

Eventually, we landed the quinjet in some abandoned warehouse off of a shipping dock. One look outside and I immediately knew that we were in San Francisco.

"I haven't been here in forever." I said with a small smile as the team and I walked through back allies.

"Is there a state that you haven't been too?" Wanda questioned. I frowned as I thought back to all my travels when Will was still in charge of me.

"Hawaii." I said with a grin "It cost too much to go there, and Will didn't have any clients there." Wanda laughed and slung an arm around my shoulder as we followed the team. Sam was leading, quietly talking into his phone to the guy who was going to help us.

"We're not far from his place." Sam called as he hung up the phone "He lives in the suburbs, so we just have to try and not draw attention to ourselves." Everyone frowned as we realized that we weren't exactly the most inconspicuous group of people.

"Wait." I said with a smile "I know a guy."
