2 Months later

"Sadie! You're going to make Peter think you're blowing him off, hurry up!"

"I'm coming!" I yelled to Wanda's summons. I ran to the elevator, blushing among the teasing thrown at me by the twins. "Shut up." I protested, waiting for the elevator to come to the floor.

"Your boyfriend's going to faint when he sees you." Wanda said playfully as I smoothed my dress down self-conciously. I made sure no adults were looking before flipping her off with a smirk.

"I saw that Sadie." Natasha called as she walked over to me. I cursed under my breath and tried to look innocent. She didn't scold me and instead just handed me a jacket. I made a face, but took it nonetheless.

"Why do I have to wear a jacket?" I complained "It gets hot walking around the city."

"Because it's thirty degrees outside and if you get pneumonia, I'll feel terrible." Natasha said sternly.

"Well we can't have that." I said teasingly. Natasha rolled her eyes and gave me a hug before the elevator came to the floor and I stepped onto it.

"Have fun." she said with a smile.

"I could say the same thing about you and Bucky." I said, smirking. Natasha tried to lunge at me playfully, but the doors closed before she could. I giggled and dutifully put on my jacket. The elevator let me off at the first floor and I smiled when I saw Peter waiting. He did the same once he saw me and I walked over to give him a hug.

"I missed you." I said quietly "It feels like I haven't seen you in forever."

"It's been two days." he said softly "But I know what you mean." I giggled and gave him a soft kiss before looking up at him with a smile. "Happy Valentines Day." he whispered, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Happy Valentines Day." I said, blushing. Sheepishly, I handed him a container that had a duct-taped down lid. "I remember you said you'd been looking for something like this, but couldn't find anything." Peter's eyes widened when he saw what was in the container and he looked at me in shock.

"How'd you find it?" he asked excitedly. It was a liquid chemical that he needed to complete a project he'd been working on.

"I had some stored in my lab." I said quietly "My dad can get more if I run out, so I gave you a good bit." Peter gave me an enthusiastic hug before handing me a bag. I looked at it curiously and reached into it. "AW!" I squealed "Peter, it's so cute! I love it!" Peter looked down at the ground sheepishly as I pulled out a small iron man plushy.

"I saw it and I thought of you." he said with a smile. I giggled and hugged him happily as I continued to hold the plushy tightly.

"You're the best boyfriend ever." I breathed, giving him a soft kiss. Peter grinned and kissed me again.

"I'll never get tired of hearing that from the best girlfriend ever." he said playfully. I rolled my eyes with a smile as I grabbed his hand and pulled him out into the city.

"Sadie, do you have brain freeze?" I stubbornly shook my head as I sat next to Peter in Central park, trying very hard to not reveal the agony I was in. Peter chuckled softly and kissed my temple as I continued to stubbornly eat my ice cream I had bought excitedly. Peter had bought one too, but he wasn't eating it quite as fast as I was because 'It's still Winter and eating ice cream isn't a great idea, but I love you, so I'll do it anyway'. Clearly he had the right idea, because I had brain freeze and he didn't.

"I need to eat my ice cream." I mumbled as Peter took the plastic bowl out of my hand.

"Not until you promise to eat slower." he bargained "I don't want to see you hurt yourself."

"Fine." I muttered "I promise." Peter smiled and handed me my bowl. He leaned in to kiss me, but I tapped him on the nose with my spoon instead. I giggled as Peter stared at me with ice cream on his nose.

"Was this necessary?" he asked resignedly. I kissed his nose with a small smile and nodded.

"Yes." I said "Yes it was." Peter shook his head and wrapped an arm around me as I snuggled into him. "This is probably the best Valentine's day I've ever had." I whispered "Granted, it's the only Valentine's day I've had, but..." Peter laughed and hugged me tighter.

"Hey," Peter said after a minute "it's getting late. I should probably take you back to the tower." I sighed, but stood up and walked with him to the tower.

"I had a great time tonight." I said softly as I stood outside the tower. Peter smiled and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Me too." he said quietly "I love going out with you."

"Well I love you." I whispered, kissing him.

"I love you too." he breathed, kissing me back. We stayed like that for a while, but Peter's phone went off, effectively breaking us apart. We blushed and stepped back from each other. "Guess that's your cue to go." I said.

"Unfortunately." He kissed me one more time before turning to head back to his house "Goodnight Sadie!" he called with a smile.

        "Goodnight Peter."
