RAHUL

Chapter 35

Recap:
"What's wrong?" Sarah approached me gently. I looked at her and slowly shook my head. I took a hold of the map by her.

It was girls like Sarah whom I would've targeted back then.

"Rahul!" Madison hugged Rahul, I quickly looked away. I felt a surge of anger in the pit of my stomach, and my hands clenched around the map. I then heard him push her away angrily.

"Don't touch me," Rahul gritted his teeth angrily. I hid a smile as I looked over the map in my hands.

End of Recap:

We arrived in the hotel, we waited until Irek went to the receptionist.

I still couldn't contem to tell you how beautiful this hotel looked, it looked straight out of a magazine.

"Hey, I booked a room with an XXL king sized bed." The lady behind the desk nodded and gave us a key.

We all started to walk to our room. I sighed as I started to head to our rooms.

Madison ran up to Rahul and started to talk to him.

"Hey, I was wondering-" Madison frowned upset as Rahul suddenly stopped walking.

"Listen, I don't like you. I don't want to talk to you." Rahul snarled at Madison who cowardly looked down.

"What did I do wrong? Is it the way I look? I can change my facial structures, or make my lips bigger." Madison looked up and her eyes shone desperate measures.

I paused walking and waited for them to catch up. Everyone went ahead, unknowing what had just occurred.

"You can never be up to my standards!"Rahul growled angrily. I quickly turned around and pressed the elevator button. For a moment, I felt bad for Madison. She just couldn't take rejection.

Ding!

I walked inside and pressed level 10. Suddenly Rahul stormed inside.

Madison tried to come inside too but Rahul stopped her. She looked down quivering, her eyes stung with unleashed tears.

"Stay out there, don't come in. See this?" Rahul waved around him frantically.

"This is royal air, royal," Rahul wasted no time and spoke diligently.

"You act like a commoner, your parents work under my family. If you continue to be this way towards me, you might as be a commoner." Rahul yelled at Madison who looked up in fright. Her cheeks were now drenched with tears.

The doors closed slowly and her eyes shifted towards me with a small glare but then she looked down with pure defeat.

All her self-confidence and happiness vanished in front of my eyes.

When the door closed, Rahul's mood changed 360 degrees. He turned towards me with a goofy smirk.

"The witch disappeared." He whispered like he just did something good.

I glared at him and threw in a punch to his right shoulder.

"Owch! Your punches hurt!" Rahul screamed whilst rubbing his shoulder and glaring at me.

"Words hurt more!" I said out of my own experience. I felt a familiar lump in my throats start to grow.

I didn't know if Rahul saw me or knew something was up. He sighed nonchalantly and casually slipped his hand into mine.

"Some people deserve the words and punches," Rahul said and then turned to me sharply. I jumped back when he took a step forward.

Soon, my back hit the elevator doors behind me. He put his hand next to my head and leaned down. He let go of our hands.

I felt his breath fan on my face. His dark eyes stared into mine. I saw something pass through his face for just a second. Before his lips quilted into a smirk.

My heart just stopped for a moment, I felt my cheeks blaze.

"Reema, for a second I thought... you wanted to kiss me." He laughed and took a step back just as the elevators opened.

As we walked back to our room silently. I couldn't help but remember what had shone in his face.

Fear.

We both stood there with open mouths as we stared into the giant room. It had a single huge bed in the middle.

"Where're our rooms?" Cabir asked coming outside of what seems to be the bathroom.

Imran and Sarah looked confused as they walked on with a cookie in hand. Irek quickly flopped his shoes out.

"This!" Irek ran on top of the giant bed.

"I like how we all slept like a family the other night. So I thought, why not again?" Irek grinned foolishly. Rahul was the first to act out.

"Owh!" Rahul rammed a pillow onto Ireks face.

It was a matter of seconds before everyone ran into the bed and grabbed a pillow. We all hit Irek and even each other. Laughter and feathers were seen throughout the room making me giddy.

I hit someone next to me with a pillow. It happened to be Rahul. He turned and was going to hit me.

My ninja reflexes kicked in and I ducked just in time. But my foot slipped from the bed sheet from below. Next thing I know I was going to fall, Rahul saw this and caught me immediately.

His hands were on my waist and his eyes were on mine. His dark eyes stared into mine. He leaned down and I closed my eyes.

Bam!

Rahul fell on top of me. I squealed in pain but Rahul wasted no time getting up. Cabir hit Rahul with his pillow laughing evilly. Rahul wasted no time and hit him square in the head.

"NO PLEASE NOT ME!" Everyone targeted Irek again, as we all cornered him in the bed.

I couldn't help but laugh evilly. His eyes widen with fear as everyone hit him at once. He turned around and curled into a ball.

Imran wasted no time and hit him in the butt with the pillow. He slammed a pillow on his butt, making him cry out. I laugh, and suddenly Rahul turned his head sharply to me.

He looked like a deer in headlights. He then looked away confused with himself. I just looked away as I remembered his words from earlier.

Some people just deserve the punches and words.
