I groan, missing the target once again. I didn't know how to work a gun, so eventually I'd die on my first hunt with Sam and Dean.
"Your not holding it right." I hear Dean state from behind me. I didn't even know he was there.
"How am I supposed to hold it?" I ask, glancing over at him. He had a playful smile on his lips, and his eyes were practically glowing. We stopped in a town, for a hunt and to find their dad. I grabbed some empty beer bottles, one of their guns and went out into a woods to do some practicing but it was hopeless.
"Here. Lift your arms up as if you were going to shoot." He comes over to me, and I do as I'm told. His hands gently graze over mine, causing me to get chills down my back for some reason. He fixes how I hold the gun, adjusts how I stand, and than looks down at me, our eyes locking. "Now shoot." He tells me, his voice almost a whisper. I feel my throat get dry, and I get lost studying his face until I finally snap out of it, look at the target and shoot, finally hitting it. I chuckle, and stare in disbelief for a moment until I look back at him who has a proud smile on his face.
"Thanks Dean." I smile. He nods and rubs the back of neck beginning to walk away.
"No problem but come on. We gotta finish this case."

-back to current time-

When I wake up, Sam is asleep in the other bed once again but Dean isn't with me. I sit up, not feeling the usual sick and weak feeling I did before. Dean was asleep in the chair. I sighed, got out of bed, and went over to him, gently shaking him.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?" He asks jumping up. I smile softly, take his arm and lead him towards the bed.
"I'm fine Dean." I chuckle, lightly pushing him so he sits on the bed. I kneel down in front of him, and take off his shoes. When I look up at him, he was giving me a weird look that only made me chuckle. "Get some rest Dean." I smile. He sighs, and lays back in the bed, instantly falling asleep.

I grab my duffle bag, and head into the bathroom. I take a shower, and get dressed in normal clothes, jeans and a t-shirt than braid my hair before exiting the bathroom. They were both passed out, and I couldn't help but smile thinking of how they might've been when they were kids. I slip on some socks and my boots, and step outside. I take a deep breath, enjoying the cool fresh air.

For a moment I thought I heard the sound of waves crashing but shook it off thinking it was just my imagination before I hear the loud cry of a seagull. Where the the hell are we? I go to the main office of the motel, and find a brochure, with the words 'Welcome to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina'. We're at the beach? I jog back to the motel room, snatch the car keys and drive towards town. I Park, and begin to walk around. It was nice, people walked up and down throughout town while others enjoyed seafood or breakfast. I went into a little shop and began searching for a bathing suit.
"Vacation?" A women behind the counter asked me.
"Kinda." I smile. She nods and goes back to restocking. I pick out a black one piece that was low cut in the middle. I go into the changing room and try it on, satisfied with it I get back into my normal clothes and purchase it with a pare of flip flops, tanning oil, a beach bag, a large towel and a thin cover to wear while walking around.
"Enjoy your stay!" The woman calls out as I leave. I give her a small wave before going back into the impala and driving back to the motel.

When I arrive back at the motel, Sam is on his laptop probably looking for a case while Dean was just finished getting dressed.
"Hey feeling better?" Sam asks smiling.
"Yep. Had to buy a couple things." I return the smile and kick off my boots.
"What you buy?" Dean asks arching his brow.
"Necessary equipment." I smile, winking before heading into the bathroom. I change into my new bathing suit, wrap the cover around my waist and slip on my flip flops. I exit the bathroom. And begin to put my other items like tanning oil and towel in my beach bag.
"Your going to the beach?" Sam asks in disbelief.
"Yes, I'm taking advantage over the fact we're here and I haven't been the beach in well......ever." I shrug. I look over at Dean who was staring at me, not looking me up and down in a pervy way, but in a way.....he never has.
"I'll join." Dean shrugs. Sam looks at him in pure shock.
"We don't have swim trunks." Sam protests.
"I know where you can get some." I smile widely.

I spread my towel across the sand and pull out my tanning oil, feeling the warm sun beam down on my skin. Dean sat on his own towel, starring at the water while Sam went to go get us drinks. I began rubbing the oil on my front but I struggled putting it on my back.
"Here." Dean chuckles, get behind me and began spreading the oil down my back. I tensed up, and I couldn't help but blush and bite my lip.
"Thanks." I mumble once he's finished.
"No problem." He smiles, putting the oil back in the bag. I lay down on my stomach, resting my head on my arms and sigh in content.
"I needed this." I mumble.
"I think we all did." Dean responds. He leans back, propping himself up on his elbows as he stares at the ocean.
"Thank you by the way, for taking care of me while I was sick." He looks over at me and gives me a small smile.
"No problem, you would've done the same." Dean shrugs. I smile and close my eyes as a soft breeze comes by.
"I don't want to leave this place." I mumble.
"You don't have to. You could stay, get a normal life again while Sam and I move on." Dean says in a serious tone. I open my eyes, and see he's looking straight at me.
"I made a promise Dean, I'm not leaving you guys. Besides it's too late I can't go back now." I sigh, moving my head so I could look forward.
"What promise?" Dean asks, scooting closer to me.
"Don't worry about it Dean, just relax for today okay?" I mumble, closing my eyes.

-flash back-

We found Sam and Dean's dad eventually, a couple bumps in the road but eventually we convinced him that staying together was the best thing. We were driving when a 18 wheeler smashed into the impala. Dean wouldn't wake up, and John was dead set on killing yellow eyes. John got out without us seeing him, but than came back 2 hours later. I was standing in Dean's room, talking to Dean as if he could hear me when John came in.
"You should be in bed." I sigh, walking over to him. He gives me a smile and pulls me into his embrace which shocks me.
"Take care of them, don't leave them.....your like the daughter Mary always wanted." John whispers in my ear before collapsing.
"John?!? SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!" I scream on the top of my lungs, tears brimming my eyes. Sam comes rushing in, and some nurses but than Dean suddenly wakes up as if nothing's happened....John what did you do......
