Personal Imagine
-Chandler Bing & Jesse-
Requests are currently closed!! They will reopen on the 1st October."MUM!" Your daughter yelled from upstairs.
You heard her stomping her way down the stairs and you prepared yourself for whatever problem she was about to rant about it. "What's the matter sweetheart?" You asked once she had found her way to you.
"Malia just told me shes got a family event on the night of the My Chemical Romance concert so I have no one to go with anymore," your sixteen year old daughter huffed.
She had been talking about the concert for weeks and now that tickets were finally about to be realised, she had no one to go with. "Do none of your other friends want to go with you?" You asked.
"None of them like My Chemical Romance, this sucks," she huffed.
"How about I come with you, I like some of their music," you suggested.
"Wait really? You'd come with me?" She questioned.
"Of course darling, I know how much you've been wanting to see them live and I don't want to let you down," you replied, a small smile on your face.
"Oh my god thank you so much mum! You're the best!" Your daughter grinned pulling you into a hug.
Seven months later, you found yourself driving to the concert alongside your overly excited daughter. She hurried you along to the arena, pulling you through the crowds of fans. You waited in the queue to get your tickets checked and then headed to your seats. You had luckily got seats quite close to the stage so your daughter was beyond pleased. As you were making your way to your seats, you bumped into someone who was walking in the opposite direction, making you stumble back slightly. "Oh I'm sorry, are you okay?" The person asked.
You looked up and saw a handsome man looking at you with a concerned look. "I'm fine, no harm done," you smiled.
You looked at the seat you were stood next to and realised you were at your seats. The man and a girl that you were assuming was his daughter sat down in the seats beside you. "I'm assuming you aren't a fan of the band and have just been dragged along since the young lady you're with is wearing all kinds of merchandise and you aren't?" The man asked.
"I don't mind them, but my daughters friends cancelled on her so I had to fill in, the jobs a single mother has to do eh," you chuckled.
"I'm on single dad duties, her mother usually takes her to concerts but she's working so I'm a temporary fill in," he responded," I'm Chandler by the way."
"I'm Jesse," you responded smiling brightly at him.
Yourself and Chandler engaged in conversation throughout the opening acts, having to shout over the loud music. "How long have yourself and your daughters dad been apart?" He asked.
"About five years, he lives with his new family now, he doesn't really see Y/D/N," you replied," what about you. How long have you are your wife been apart?"
"A few years, it ended on good...."
Before he could finish his sentence, you were interrupted by load screams echoing around the arena. You stood up and sang along to the music with your daughter. When 'welcome to the black parade' started to play, your daughter squealed in excitement and sang loudly. This was yours and your daughters favourite song of theirs so you joined in her singing at full volume. You noticed that Chandler was fully singing along which made you smile. When the music picked up tempo you started dancing around with your daughter, giggling at your awful moves. Chandler grabbed your hand and spun you round, and danced along to the music with you. Normally you wouldn't start dancing with strangers, especially in front of your daughter, but you were having too much of a good time to care. Your daughter and Chandlers daughter had made friends and were enjoying the concert together which was a sight that made you smile. "Looks like they've found someone to go to concerts with in the future," you chuckled.
"Thank goodness, I don't know how much longer I can keep on going to these kind of concerts," Chandler said.
When the concert ended, you're ears were ringing and your daughter was still talking to Chandler's daughter about how great the performance was. "Mum can we stop at the merch stand on the way out?" Your daughter asked.
"Of course darling," you grinned.
You grabbed your jacket off of the back of the seat and pulled it on. "It was a pleasure to meet you Chandler, thanks for not judging my awful Mum dancing," you said.
"You didn't judge my dad dancing so I had to return the favour," he grinned.
"Goodbye," you said, feeling a little sad that you weren't going to see him again.
"Bye Jesse," he responded.
"Mum hurry up, I want to get a t-shirt before they sell out," Your daughter said, tugging on your arm.
You let her pull you through the crowds once again to one of the many merch stands. When you got to the front, there was luckily one shirt left in your daughters size and she was ecstatic. You felt around in your jacket for your purse and your face fell when you realised you had left it in the car. "Darling I'm really sorry but I've left my money in the car," you said.
You're daughter looked extremely upset that she couldn't get some merchandise and you felt incredibly awful. "I guess I'll just have to buy a fake online," she mumbled.
"I'll pay for it," someone said.
You looked away from your daughter and saw Chandler handing the lady some money. "Chandler you didn't have to do that," you said.
"It's fine, you can just repay me by going out for coffee with me next week," he smirked.
"It's a deal," you grinned, a small blush rising on your cheeks.
He grabbed a pen from the merch desk and scrawled his number on your arm. "Call me sometime," he said before walking away, leaving you stood their with a huge smile on your face.
"As if you scored a date at a My Chemical Romance concert," your daughter chuckled.
