In Search Of You

Vaani cuddled more into her mumma's chest, who is sleeping soundly. Annika wrapped her close to her chest and they started sleeping. Annika had a peaceful night and sleep after a long time, in sleep her lips curved into a beautiful smile, it might be because she is getting the warmth of her husband's love even from a long distance.

Shivaay reached Dr. Pai's hospital and he was shocked to see him again after a day.
Shivaay's eyes were red and filled with tears
Shivaay : please doctor,, help me,,, I know Annika is my wife and vaani is my daughter. I want them... I want them back.. Help me please.
Dr pai couldn't believe his ears.. But being a genuine person, who knows everything about them, felt really happy for Annika and little vaani.
Dr. Pai: so, do u remember everything?
Shivaay : no, doctor, to be honest with you, I don't remember..
He explained everything that happened in OM to Dr. Pai.
Dr. Pai explained their remaining story to him and only he got sobbing from shivaay as a reply.
Dr. Pai: shivaay,, don't give up... Give yourself some time. Some incidents, places, similar situations will help you remember everything. You have to earn Annika's trust. As far as I know, she loved her shivaay, but it's hard to convince her as great Shivaay Singh Oberoi. But you know,, at the end of the day,, she is your wife, mother of your child,,, she cannot deny that.. Tell me shivaay... What can I do for you??
Shivaay : you are right doctor... I have to earn her trust and love.. I thought to go to her house and get them back to OM as I have that right to do so. But my love for her is beyond my rights... I will make her fall for Shivaay Singh Oberoi doctor. Could you please arrange me the very next house to their house for my accommodation??
Dr. Pai: I understood that you are planning something high(smirking).. OK I will...by the way,, in between your love story,, don't forget your little soul(sarcastically)
Shivaay : she is the thread that connects us together doctor.. (proud)

After half an hour
Dr. Pai : your accommodation is ready,, I will drop you there...
Shivaay :ok doctor..

They reached their destination. He made himself comfortable in his room and he took the room which gave the direct view of Annika's house, most of it was glass furnished.

He peeped through his glass into their house... He didn't see them. But his eyes were longing for them. He went to fresh up himself.
Meanwhile;
Annika : vaani, don't run baby, u may fall down,, come please... Come and have food baby....
Vaani : acch me mumma(catch me mumma)...
Vaani run around the table and Annika behind her. Vaani is going under the table and Annika is trying to stop her. Finally she hold her by her fist and made her sit on her lap. They sat on the dining table and she started feeding her.
Vaani(twisting her face) : lo mumma... Lo aaloo(no mumma.. No potato)
Annika: haaayee,,, papa's sunshine,,, u too doesn't like potatoes like your papa??
Vaani: I mich papa... Mumma (I miss papa)
Annika : you have your mumma na baby... Think about other babies like you, who doesn't have anybody.. You are blessed vaanu... Eat now... Aaaa.....
Vaani with mouthful of food said "lub u mumma" (love u mumma) Annika :love u too my baby... Mmmwwwaaahhhh 😘😘😘

A pair of moist eyes was watching them. Though he couldn't hear their conversation, he could feel the warmth and care in Annika's eyes for his baby. He felt proud of his baby's mother. He wanted to go near them and wanted to pull them into a warm hug but he waited with patience for the right time. He decided to earn his rights and love from her. He send all his love and care for his wife and baby through his eyes. He carried  a collection of photographs which are very close to his heart. He caressed the photograph of his sunshine and drifted into sleep.
