CHAPTER 5: K-I-S-S-I-N-G

TAEHYUNG'S POV
After a very long week of practicing nonstop, we finally got a break. It's the long-awaited weekend that everyone is looking forward to.

Even though we know that there's no guarantee that the girls will even be there, and even if they will be there, what are we even supposed to do?

I know everyone's also looking forward to their comeback stage, so we decided to get together and watch them perform live.

"Guys! BLACKPINK's about to come on!" Jimin shouts.

We all gathered in the living room, waiting for them to come on. The first thing I notice is obviously Jennie. I can't deny that I do find her attractive. I also can't deny that I haven't been able to stop thinking about her. I've been so bothered by the whole Mino and Bobby thing. It even bothered me more when I saw that Song Mino decided to post another picture of just him and Jennie the next day. He used #comingsoon and #princess as his caption. I couldn't help but wonder about their actual relationship. Ever since Mino and Bobby started posting pictures of them with Jennie on social media, it's been such a hot topic. People are wondering if Jennie is dating one of them or if Jennie is going to be collaborating with them.

YG recently had to release a statement regarding Jennie, Bobby, and Mino because Mino and Bobby kept posting pictures and kept using #comingsoon as their caption. This obviously created confusion amongst fans. It's not that people hated them. It was simply because fans were now expecting a collaboration and were very excited to see what was next. People started talking about them even more and shipping Jennie with Mino and Jennie with Bobby. The Jennie and Mino ship was more popular, though. Probably because Mino posted more pics of them together. YG basically stated that he has no idea what the 3 of them are up to and that there are no current plans for a JENNIE & MOBB collaboration. YG also stated his kids are sneaky and gave them props for having the guts to cause such a ruckus and that they are now considering a project between the 3.

If Mino and Bobby get to work with Jennie, I think I will be jealous. I love BLACKPINK, and knowing that my bias will be working with two guys really bothers me.

"They're so daebak!"

"Girl crush!"

"Look how fierce they all look!"

"Is Lisa the main dancer or Rosé? They're both so good I can't tell!"

Everyone's just raving about BLACKPINK's live performance. I can't help but feel proud and happy for them. In such a short time, they've already acquired so much success. Also, I'm pretty sure they've beaten us on most MV views in a week. I won't be surprised if Ddu-Du Ddu-Du surpasses our Fake Love song. They're doing so well that even the Try Guys from Buzzfeed did a short choreography to their new song. They really are DAEBAK!

JENNIE'S POV
I'm so happy to be back on stage! Our colleagues also greeted and congratulated us. I wish we were able to promote Red Velvet, but unfortunately, they will be making their comeback after our promotions. I miss Irene unnie.

"I'm so tired! But that was awesome!" Rose says.

"Did you guys know that BTS is rumored to have a comeback soon too?" Jisoo asks.

"I didn't know that. They seem so busy. Don't they have a world tour coming up too?" I ask.

"Yea, they do. I guess there's no break for them right now. Good for them. I hope they do well," Lisa states.

"So, do you guys have a favorite from BTS?" Jisoo unnie asks with a smirk on her face.

"Ya! We're not allowed to date!" I said.

"Chill, Jendeukie. I didn't say 'date.' I said 'favorite,' and it's just a question. What's so bad about having a bias in one of the most popular K-Pop boy groups right now?"

"Oh! I have one!" Lisa says. "RAP MONSTER! I like him a lot! He's not the best at dancing, but I respect his music game. Like GD oppa!"

"Oh, I agree!" Rose states. "But I think I do have a bias. I think J-Hope is really funny, but I also really like Jungkook. Can you believe that he's basically good at everything? I've seen some of their Vlives, and he's daebak at games!"

"Jennie, see, everyone has a favorite. Mine's probably Worldwide handsome Jin. He's funny," Jisoo says.

"I mean, I guess it's okay to have a favorite. I don't typically follow BTS for me to have a bias. But if I had to choose one, I guess I would pick V? He wears a lot of nice clothes," I confess to them.

"Wow! That's perfect! You know some fans ship you guys, right?" Jisoo unnie says.

"What? I didn't know that. We haven't even officially met."

"Well, there was that incident where he accidentally hit you during a music awards show."

"Oh, I remember that! I think I saw some videos of that," Rosé said.

I do remember that incident. We were trying to get a group picture, and I was trying to grab something from the floor, and as soon as I bent down to grab it, Taehyung got up. I don't think he noticed, though.

"Kim Taehyung and Kim Jennie. That sounds really nice," Jisoo says.

"YA! Stop that. Don't feed into the shippers' imaginations," I say to Jisoo unnie.

"Jennie and Taehyung sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G~~~~" All the girls start singing.

I rolled my eyes at them and started to walk out of the room. They can get pretty annoying. I don't even know why they're teasing. We've never officially met BTS, and I definitely haven't met Taehyung. Those girls are crazy.
