Chapter 8

* Cameron's POV *

I raced out of the door and jumped into my car as soon as I ended the call with Leah. I just told her I loved her. All the guys do; Nash, Hayes, Matt, Shawn- practically everyone. I had no clue why she was with Shawn at 1am but I'm not going to question it. Right now I need to help Shawn.

As I was driving I seen Jack G running as fast as he could towards his house. Weird. I thought. I arrived quicker than I should've as I was way above the speed limits. I raced out of the car and ran over to Shawn. His face was already bruising, his nose was bleeding and he had cuts all over his face. I knelt down beside him and put my jacket around him.

" who did this to him? " I asked Leah, who was crying her eyes out

" J..jack G " she stuttered and began to cry again

Shit. I literally drove past him. I swear to god if I knew he would be dead by now.

" go inside and get some tissues, water, ice, and blankets, I'll try carry him inside while your doing that " I said to Leah and she immediately did so.

I carried him into their home and lay him on the floor, wrapping blankets around him to keep him warm. I then attended to all his cuts and bruises and soon enough, he was waking up.

I stood up and as soon as I did Leah ran to me and hugged me, burying her head in my chest " Thank you! " she screamed and walked over to Shawn

* Shawns POV *

My vision was slowly becoming clearer and I could make out two figures standing above me. I heard a girl voice scream " thank you " . Leah. I thought. I wondered who the other person was until I opened my eyes fully and seen Cameron looking down on me. He didn't realise I was looking at him as he went over to Leah and tilted her head up so she was looking at him, and leaned in. Their lips almost touching
