Chapter 24

He smirked, a hot lust lingering in the shine of his eyes. He knew how much I was attracted to him, god even he knew. He wore a tailored suit that fit on him like a glove. I sat on the corner of his bed watching as he slowly approached me like a hungry predator.  

We'll finish this later! 

My gaze shifted to my feet in shyness, a red blush on my cheek. 

"Come on," His soft voice pushed me to look up, bravely. My heart broke as I saw him holding out his hand for him. A hand to lift me up from my low. I smile sadly up at him and I place my hand delicately in his. I've placed my trust in him, completely.

He pushed me up, he walks fast. My steps almost trip as I stumble behind his footsteps. The door opens as the cold winds slaps against my face, calming as I step outside. 

He looks behind, laughing at my face. It's contagious as I laugh along with him, the cold pinching my skin. My chest rumbles as butterflies burst from my stomach, our laughter mixing with the sound of birds chirping. 

He unclipped my hair clip, letting my hair free in long waves. His grip tightened on my hand, as fast paces began a jogging into running. We ran fast past the gates away from tension. 

"Let go," He shouted in bliss. I let go upon his command, "Forget everything," 

I had never seen him so happy. I wondered what had happened that made his mood change so suddenly. I loved him seeing like this. 

We reached a small shop, as I stopped to catch some breaths. 

"Lets go inside," I suggest, I look to read the sign- Glitx hair salon. I drag him in, as the bell chimes. 

"A fresh cut please," I ask, reaching in my pocket some free change in my pocket. I look in the mirror, my once long hair cut to a short cut just an inch above my shoulder. I have a full fringe know making my eyes bigger than before. It really suits my face. I feel new and fresh, like a new person. 

Alexis eyes dilate as he stares at me, he's speechless. "You look...wow!" 

I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. I like this new look, I was going to keep my air this way. We walked around aimless talking about useless things. 

"My friends workplace is open, he sometimes work late in the night. Let's pay him a visit," Alexis suggests. I nod, willing to follow him wherever. 

We reach a highly looking expensive pub, it looks busy with the cars filling the car park. The security lets us pass immediately despite a waiting line. I'm impressed, Alexis seems like such a important person compared to I.   

The music is a smooth beat, as bodies grind on one another in a beat. The bar is busy and the smell of cocktail drifts in the air. 

We go in the lift, alone. The purple dim light giving a vibe of a party. We stare at each other, quite intently. Waiting for something to happen.

I love studio ghibli movies! But by far howl's moving castle and spirited away are my favorites. I want to find me a howl.
