"So this is the place?" I muttered as I gazed at the huge house that stood before me. Well to be honest it wasn't a mansion but it definitely was big... At least a 5 bedroom home that stood a good two storys tall. Fortunately John's house had been close enough that I could ride my bike to its location. Walking my transportion to the side of the house, I kick the kickstand. Once I abandoned my bike I soon made my way to the front door. Inside I could feel my heart beating insanely. Slowly I connected my fist against the door as I sounded a knock. WHY AM I SO NERVOUS FOR A STUPID JOB?!?

A few seconds later the door finally opened. There stood an elderly man, however he wasn't like 80, to be honest he was more of 60. He wore square frame glasses, (not the ones you see hipsters wear, but the ones old people have) was blading and seemed to be a kind character. "May you be my little helper?" I cast a  friendly smile. "Yes my name is ____. You're John I suppose?" The elder beamed back "Ah so you remembered," he motioned me in "Please come in, I need to show you what must be done." Simply nodding I followed John inside. As soon as I slipped in his home my heart completely stopped. Garbage, collectibles, clothes, food, literally anything you could name was stacked to the roof. There was only a single path that was clear from the debris. John laughed half-heartedly "Yeah as you can see this place is kind of a mess," KIND OF?!?!? He scratched the back of his head continuing "Ehe, this is why I need you" My heart sunk "oh..." staring in a daze "I see...." He smiled patting my back "Don't fret kiddo, I believe in you" I sure don't.  In an instance the male was in the front doorway. "My wife will be here in a few hours from her job so please don't freak out when she comes. Now I gotta go, golf will start soon, so bye then!" The old man shut the door only to reopen it a second later "Good luck~" John smiled singing the phrase then left for good.

Slowly I made my way around the house examining the area. This man was a serious hoarder, I didn't understand why he just didn't call that hoarder show for help. I sighed, Well I guess it doesn't really matter as long as I'm getting paid, I might as well start... Grabbing a box from bottom of the monstrous pile, I turned away. Immediately after that the clutter of trash came tumbling down. My life flashed before my eyes. Oh curse you cruel world!!! I WANTED TO DIE AWESOMELY. NOT LIKE THIS. With a mighty shove I managed to throw all the stuff off of me. "PRAISE THE SUN THE GREAT ______ LIVES ONCE MORE!!" I exclaimed as stood on the mountain of debris that tried to end my very existence. My stance was one of a great warrior who had just conquered his greatest battle. Yes... Mother would be proud of me.... Very proud.

"Umm... are you... okay?" a voice called from behind. My entire body flinched causing me to lose my footing as I fell on top of my claimed land. (AKA The trash that nearly doomed me) I cough chocking on air "I- um- ah yeah I'm fine." My cheeks flushed with embarrassment. It was then I realized that the stranger was John's wife. The woman seemed around John's age but appeared to be more frail. Her grey hair was held up in a gentle bun. She smiled chuckling at me "You kids these days sure are lively." Instantly I was on my feet cheeks continuing to burn. "I'm so sorry about the noise," Feeling extremely awkward for making such a ridiculous scene. "Don't worry I'll make sure to keep things quiet while you're asleep." His wife smiled once more. "Thank you I do appreciate that. Have fun cleaning." she waved me off climbing up the stairs. Oh I will...

Eventually I made progress but realized that this task would end up taking a couple of days. John came home and paid me $75 for my work which I'll have to say was not a bad price at. "You will be here tomorrow I assume?" the bald man questioned. I nodded "Of course, this job will take much longer then I anticipated it to be." He smiled in response "Oh that's fine, take as long as you like. Just be sure to do your best." "I will. Well I'll see you tomorrow then" making my way out the door. "Yes, see you then" He smirked. The smile made my stomach turn. It was so creepy. However as soon as it appeared it had disappeared. He shut the door, which at that signal I went home. Tomorrow will be just another fun filled day of work. Oh how I can't wait.
