I laid on my bed staring at the ceiling. So $400 huh? That's crazy. I thought as I examined my wallet. I've never been a fan of spending cash to be honest, but if so it was only on fandoms, or crafts but that's just about it. As I sat in the darkness my thoughts wondered on, What should I get? Should I just say up? ...Maybe. My eyes closed and slowly I felt myself slip into slumber waiting for the new day to begin.

'Buzz'

'Buzz'

'Buzz'

My eyes shot up to glance at my phone, a new message? I swear of it's (name of that one stalker friend you have who's always texting you and wants to be with you but you obviously don't like him/her back) I'm gonna burn them. Achingly I sat up reaching for my phone off my nightstand. 5:17 it read, which means I have get up soon anyway.

New Message: John

Hey if it isn't too much to ask could you bring a spare change of clothes? We might be painting and doing messy stuff so.

Oh? Sighing I replied with a simple 'Okay' making sure it sent. My phone could be slow sometimes. Hopping out of bed I climbed into the shower. Time to start a new day =A=

Finally I was ready. Wearing a drawstring filled with my separate outfit, there I towered in front of their door. Just as I was about to ring the bell the door opened. "Ahah! There you are! Bring the clothes?" He glanced over to see my bag full of clothing. "Yes perfect but first me and you must go ran an errand, come." Confused but silent I followed. He lead me to his truck. "We need to go pick up something." A sly grin came across his face for a brief but instantly vanished.

The ride was silent... even pretty awkward. I don't know what to should talk about with an old guy! Let's see... what does he like? Ah! "So how's golf going for you?" Speaking up to break the tension. "Wonderful actually! Made my way to regionals, first time I've been able to do it so." He seemed fond of the topic however I didn't know much about the sport so it didn't last long. "That's amazing" he nodded "Yup."

And like that the silence engulfed us once more, but this time he spoke. "So I heard you did a little eavesdropping, eh?" My gaze instantly fell onto my lap where my hands laid folded with flushed cheeks. "Ah... Yes I'm so sorry about that. I-I just was tryin- " he waved his hand glancing at me for a second. "You don't have to worry about it. It did involve you after all." Curiously I looked over at him. His gaze was firmly set on the highway now. "Really?" A nod of agreement was the elder's response along with: "We were talking about how helpful you are," his smile slowly grew abit. "we truly appreciate your assistance." he continued. I beamed back "oh it's nothing don't worry about it." John shook his head "Oh no, no, no, no! We really are grateful and the word about you needs to spread." I stared at him dumbfounded. Eh? "We have found someone else who needs your assistance." The man stopped his car. At the moment I realized I was at the airport. John looked at me "He's inside, his name is Vlad. We need to pick him up, I need you-" he emphasized that part "to go in and find him. He should be holding a sign with your name on it. Look in gate G, that is where he should be." The bald man began to shoo me out of his car. "Go on now and please hurry." Okay? What the hell just happened. His car drove off into the parking lot while I stood in front of the entrance of the airport. Oh well, sighing, let's get this over with.
