"You guys going to the store again?" Estonia asked with a friendly smile. I nodded "Of course you know how Toris is. He loved going every single day I swear." The blonde laughed "Well it always is nice to get out once and while so I can not blame him."  He smirked "What I would do to go to the nearest choir everyday. Ah," the nation sighed heavily "But that couldn't possibly happen." "Oh? Why is that?" I inquired tilting my head. He started stuttering "W-well I can not imagine Mr. Russia allowing me to." Confusion consumed me "Have you ever considered asking?" The tall male began to shiver "M-Me ask Mr. Russia?" Ah I see now, he was too frightened too. I shook my head "You know I could ask for you if you like? I'm sure he'll let you, I see no reason not to." Smiling at the shaking nation I continued "If you want I could even walk with you to the place. It would be fun!" The Estonian flinched "Really you'll ask for me. T-Thank you so much and I would love for you to come." "Okay I promise to ask him today." Toris called from the hall "Are you ready to go?" "Well I'll talk to you later Eduard!" He nodded me off "You too, have fun Miss _____." Turning away I headed through the hall and into the main room to be greeted by smiling Lithuania. "Let's go."

Things between me and the brunette have been quite... Normal. Sure there were times when he would mention the possible chance of relationship but I quickly changed the subject hoping he would take a hint. I wasn't good at breaking these kind of things to some one in person, I don't want to hurt them. Plus to be honest I don't even know what I truly feel for him, Toris was a nice guy after all but inside I just felt as though... My feelings lie elsewhere.

It had been about almost 2 weeks since the whole kiss incident and still I gave him no answer on my opinion. Ugh why does everything have to be so difficult!? "Um are you okay?" It was then I realized that I had stopped walking, was clutching my hair and stomping from frustration. How can I be such an idiot! Sweat dropping I release my iron grip "Ah... Yeah sorry I was just thinking about something that pissed me off." I quickened my step so I was next to the Lithuanian. He glanced at me in the corner of his eye "Oh?" He smiled tauntingly "And what exactly was able to upset you so bad that you stopped walking and threw a tantrum?"  "France." I  stated quickly lying as I added "Him and his stupid ideas." Toris chuckled "Well that is Francis for you. His idea are unique, it is what makes him special." My brows knitted together in irritation. "Special enough to go streaking, suggest the pervertest ideas and get me a thong as a Christmas present." Awkward silence came across us after my reply. Oh crap I did I really just say that!? He doesn't even know about that. It wasn't until more then a minute later Toris spoke. "H-Hey," he said staring down with his brown hair concealing his face as he walks. "D-did you try it t...to see if it fits?" The tall male gazed flickered to my figure revealing his blazing cheeks. I felt my blood stop. My cheeks becoming red I started jabbing the Lithuanian's sides with all my might. "DON'T BE A FRANCE TOO!"

Once we reached the super market I headed straight for the payphone. My mom would be pissed at me cause the last time we talked was like September and it now already January. Quickly I slipped in my rubbles and dialed her number, me still having to look from the paper due to the fact of me not bothering to remember it. When the phone rang she answered immediately. "Hi woman." I smiled. She replied a "Hey _____, how are things over there?" "Well pretty good, we even got to celebrate Christmas! I got a lot of stuff surprisingly, even some knee high converse!" My mother sounded annoyed "You and your obsession for those goddamn shoes." "Well I'll have you know those shoes are the awesomest thing to ever exist... Apart from me... And maybe... JUST MAYBE, my friend Gilbert." "Who?" I sighed not bothering to explain everything "Never mind." "Well whatever, so why the hell haven't you called us in over 3 months!? You could've at least called on Christmas. It is a FAMILY holiday. It's what normal kids would've done" She stated drawing emphasis on family. I shrugged "Sorry I was kind of busy with life. And when exactly have you ever considered me to be a 'normal' kid. Anyway what about you, how are things over there?" I inquired. "Well...decent, pretty boring though." My mother paused  "______ we all want you back home." "Why? Sad that's no one to clean the house or do dishes over there for you?" I taunted the reply. "______ I'm being serious. You are only 17 years old. You're over there living with God knows who. You never call and I have no idea if you're safe at all." "I'm talking to you now aren't I? Don't I sound fine?" Her tone changed into her actual 'mother' voice "That is not the point. Sure you could be fine now but what if something happened to you tomorrow. How will I know? The world is a terrible place. I know you. _____ you take everything like a joke. I know it's good to be optimistic but... You just aren't ready for this kind of responsibility." She trailed off "...I'm not ready to let you take this kind of responsibility." "Is 'no' an option?" Asking mockingly. "No." She said coldly. "Well that is a shame I'm making it one." I laughed. "Dammit did you not understand anything I said at all." My mother hissed. "Every last word. Look mom, I know I have no right to do this but I want to stay here... Or at least for the moment. I promise I will come back over there one day but... Just not now." The line fell silent until my mom finally let out a sigh submitting to my will. "Ah well I know there's no use to beg anymore, I would just be wasting my breathe. I'm assuming you're on a payphone and that it will end any minute so I love you, be safe okay?" I smiled "Yeah, I love you too and I will I promise. You be safe too. Bye." Then I hung up the phone sighing. "This is why I never call you mom." Softly muttering to myself.

"You still should call her more." Toris grinned outside the booth hands loaded with bags. I nearly jumped out of my skin. "TORIS! YOU REALLY NEED TO STOP THIS SNEAKING UP ON ME STUFF!" I worded trying to clam down. Laughing the brunette protested "Perhaps you need to be more aware of your surroundings." I was out of the box now. He held out some bag "I guess." I exhaled heavily reaching for the bags. We began walking our way home. "That didn't take you long." I stated as my vision shifted to him. Toris nodded looking at me "Yeah I suppose so though it was complimented with the fact that you took longer on the pay phone then you usually do. Did you have a good talk?" Sweat dropping I shook my head "She just bitched. Bitched about how I never call, bitched about how I call late, bitched about how I'm too young for responsibility, and bitched about how she wants me to go back home." The nation flinched from shock. "What did you say back to her? About coming home I mean." Waving my hand in a gesture to dull out the seriousness "Told her I'm not coming back or well at least for now." "Do you want to go back?" I sighed. "I can't really say. I mean don't get me wrong I do miss them but here," a small toothless smile came across as I continued "is just too much fun and to be honest I can't see myself leaving it behind." Toris nodded in agreement "I can see what you mean. I can't imagine waking up a day without you here." Flicking a glance at me his tone grew more serious. "Have you figured things out yet... About us?" Instant red pooled my face as I tried to keep a clam composure. Change the subject, change the subject, CHANGE IT! The words erupted rapidly "No,ButGoshHowAboutThemPockySticksThough! ManICouldSeeWhyYouWantedMeToTr-" he grabbed my wrist spinning me around til I faced him. "Please do not change the subject and please be honest." His eyes pleading as he grasped my shoulder. Stuttering I look away with crimson cheeks "I don't know..." The brunette cupped my chin making me gaze at him,  he leaned forward planting a slow kiss on my lips. My eyes shot wide open from the sudden impact "Do you know now?" He replied as he pulled away. I stared at him baffled moving away from his grasp as my face burned with shy embarassment. "N-No now can you please let go of me and do not do that again." The nation took his hands away. "Is there something wrong with me?" I didn't reply and for the rest of the walk everything was silent.
