Me and Lithuania left the house in an instant. Inside I could feel my heart hammer against my chest. I haven't talked to them in like forever.. Well technically it had been about three months but it still felt like forever. Reaching the store the phone sat a mere 6 feet away. Nodding Toris off he headed inside the store to get a head start on his shopping while I made my way to the pay phone.

I stared at the glass enclosed box. It amazed me to see they still had these things around. Hopping inside I found it to be a fair size for a pay phone. Sighing I slipped the coins in and dialed the number on the note. The phone rang.

And rang.

And rang...

until it stopped taking me to voicemail.

'Leave a message after the beep'

'Beeeeeeepppp'

"Hi woman you know who this is." Hanging the phone up. For a few minutes I waited knowing they would check the voicemail to see what the strange number wanted.

Five minutes passed and I decided to try once more losing another 50 rubbles. This time it only had ring once. My mother answered voice crackled with tears. "_______?" "No shit." She lost it immediately sobs exploding from her. I felt a pang of sorrow to know I was the reason she was like this. "Look mom I'm sorry for what I said bef-" She spoke her voice amused though shaky. "We haven't talked in months hell us even thinking your dead and the first thing you call me is woman." My mom chuckled through the tears. "________ you have no idea how much we miss you," Mother's voice shakes as more sadness grasped her. "W-We thought you died _________." I smacked my lips "Mother you and I both know I'm simply too awesome to die." My mom laughed at the words. "It's good to see you haven't changed. And to hear you voice again. _______ , what happened? Where are you? How are you managing?" The woman shot out millions of questions."Mom, mom, mom calm down. I'll explain everything I promise just calm down." I reassured her continuing. "Well to sum things up my boss took me to the airport to get someone however, it was a set up. I ended up being put on a plane drugged only to end up where I am now, Russia." Mom gasped. "YOU'RE IN RUSSIA!?!?!?!" The woman paused processing the inform. "WAIT YOUR BOSS DID THIS ON PURPOSE!?!? HE DRUGGED YOU TOO!?! UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE!!" Nodding I agree "I know I am staying with an incredibly generous man who found me at the airport. He was the only one who know English. You don't have to worry about him mom he's far too kind to do anything like THAT." Knowing that she only believed that people were only nice for their own self-gain. "Anyway I planned going back over there two weeks after coming here but on my way to the airport I was jumped. Gangsters ended up taking all my cash for the ticket." Telling her about the injuries would worsen things. Her tone was coated with anger "Are you okay?" "Yes of course. It just a few scratches." And a couple of broken ribs, a concussion, a dislocated arm and stab wound :P "I see... Well why didn't you call us sooner?" I scratched my head in embarassment chuckling "Well you see I kinda ended up dropping my phone in the airport over there and I didn't know your number at all. It was today that I found it stashed in my wallet." "This is exactly why they tell you to remember your parent." Thanks for pointing that out ONCE AGAIN. She continued "So...When are you coming home?" My mind went blank. "I don't know if I ever am..." Mom yelled at the top of her lungs outraged. "WHAT DO YOU ME-"

'Beep' 'beep'

Crap the times almost up. I interrupted her rant. "Mom I gotta go the pay phone's running out of time." She sounded confused "Wait what!?"

'beep' 'beep' 'beep'

"Sorry I love you talk to you later." I didn't get hear her say goodbye, the call ended too quick. Sighing I would have to call her another time. Though... I'm grateful to have heard her voice again. It was nice. Slowly I slipped out of the glass interior to go join Toris. He must be starting to worry.

                  ~Narrator's POV~

A man lowly hid in a cluster of bushes lifting his binoculars away from his face. He wore all grey. Grey suit. Grey tie. Grey ski mask. "Boss I found her." He murmured into the side of his jacket. A voice sounded from his ear piece. "Well?" It called. The man have a serious expression. One he seemed to wear everyday of his life. One that would make the greatest dictator collapse onto their knees. "She's with a guy though not the blonde one from before. This one, alot more different, wouldn't dare to even hurt a fly." The voice laughed "Shame." The man was very serious about his work taking none of it 'humorous'. "What do you want me to do with the girl?" "Just leave her for now. Leave all of them alone. However I want you to continue spying on them." His superior replied. The grey man grunted "Understood."
