Closet (PP)

So last chapter was about Peter and the reader telling the Avengers they were dating.
Well one of the things said in Tony's plan was that if nothing worked they would shove them into a closet.
AbbyR0604  suggested that I make another chapter based on that!😁

Your POV
I was sat at the dinner table with my family and my best friend Peter.
Otherwise known as Spider-Man.

"So. How was school Y/n?" Dad asks
"Good. Aced Chem and Trigonometry test. Which was literally 50 percent of my grade." I say smiling.
"SHES A GENIUS LIKE ME!" Dad exclaims throwing his hands up in the air.
"How about you Peter?" Mom asks
"Good. Aced the same tests as Y/n." He says smiling.
Then we high five.

"Adorable." Wanda says under her breath.
"What?" I ask her.
"Nothing" She says and takes a bite of the lasagna.

"Smart kids. Perfect for each other." Dad says
Peter and I look at him confusedly.

"Do you have a girlfriend Peter?" Sam asks
Peter chokes on his lasagna and I had to hit his back for him to spit it out.
Then he drinks his water.
"Excuse me?" He asks
"Do you have a girlfriend?" Sam asks again
"N-no." Peter stutters out.

"Do you have a boyfriend Y/n?" Bucky asks
"No..." I say
"Pretty girl like you?" Nat says
"Ok. Not gonna lie that sounded kinda creepy." I say chuckling softly.

"You know what?! THEY'RE NOT GETTING IT!" Dad exclaims standing up.
Peter and I are really confused right now.
"You two. Follow me." Dad says
I finish up with my lasagna and we follow Dad.
He stops in front of a closet.

"Dad... What are we doing here?" I ask
"You'll see." He says
He opens the closet and pushes us in there.
He closes the door.
Then I hear the click of the lock.

Realization sunk in and I started hitting the door.
"Dad let us out!" I exclaim
I hear a simultaneous "no" from the Avengers and mom.
"Ugh." I say and turn around and lean against the wall.
"What is happening?" Peter asks

"I don't know Peter." I say
"Wait... they said something about us not getting it." I say
"Mr.Stark did say that we were perfect for each other." He says
Thank goodness it was dark inside the closet and he couldn't see me blushing madly.
I've had a crush on him for the longest time and my family apparently wanted me dating him.

"So... they want us to... date?" I ask

"I guess..." Peter says
"Well...." I say and get closer to Peter.

WHERE DID THIS SURGE OF CONFIDENCE COME FROM?!
"I have to tell you something..." I say
He looks at me confusedly.
" I... i l-like you..." I say quietly
He sighs in relief.
Now it was my turn to look at him confusedly.
"Good. Because I like you too." He says
Then we kissed after a few moments.
It wasn't heated, it was sweet and gentle, but passionate at the same time.

We break away and stare into each other's eyes and kiss again.
"I'm glad you like me back." He says after breaking away.
I just giggle and smile.
"YES!" I hear from the speakers.
"Dad!" I exclaim
Then the door unlocks and I open it.

There were all the Avengers.
Plus Mom.
"Are you dating now?" Wanda asks
Peter and I look at each other then back at them and nod.
"THE SHIP HAS SAILED!" Clint exclaims
"FINALLY! I've shipped this for so long." Thor says
Then we all laugh.
"Take care of her Parker." Dad says
"Of course Mr.Stark." Peter says
