The things god saw today, can you believe it?

You can sit where ever you like.

I can serve whatever you like.

You can have whatever you like.

I can hold whatever you like.

You can be whatever you like.

I can be whatever you like.

You can tell me whatever you like.

I can say whatever you like.

Whatever you like.

  Tell me whatever you like.

Before I tell you what I like.

      I like your earrings.

        I like your smile.

          Then you left.

Beauty ever-fleeting.

  Infatuation ever-leaving.

Never stopping to take a breath.

  Never stopping to say hi.

I liked you earrings.

I thought it was only the one.

I thought it was my calling card.

Not my calling card, you aren't a friend of Dorothy's.

    But, still a calling card.

Earlooms interloop in the leaves of my home-grown peach.

Believe upon the peach blossom luck.

Want to see what I have seamed.

Sewn the scene into my scheme.

    Pretty eyes, butterflies.

Flap alone in my insides.

      Tickles like a thought.

        Comes like a sneeze.

           Instantaneous.

Then there was the man, the old man.

The man with barely a hand.

Only the thumb, but it mumbled high five.

Big respect, great respect.

  Relevant respect.

He is the same, as I.

  Nothing different.

    No less.

Then came the sirens.

The first, the second sirens.

Like passersby, riding the street in their stride.

Thought nothing of it, everyday thing, here and there.

This doesn't happen in this town.

  Not here, nor there.
