Seris x Jenos

"I bet I'm a better healer than you!"

Boasted Jenos.

He was usually more serious, but around Seris, the quiet girl, he loosened up and tried to make her smile.

"....We'll see about that.."

Seris murmured, sapping a purple strand of air from her lantern she always managed to hold up.

Jenos smirked and said,

"I'll win."

"..."

Seris frowned a little, and Jenos wondered what her eyes looked like.

Probably pretty like her...

Jenos thought, and he blushed at his own thoughts.

"C'mon lovebirds, the round started!"

Koga yelled, charging with his claws out.

"Oh brother.."

Jenos groaned.

"Koga will end up hurting himself again.."

"Then I'll heal him."

Seris said, determination seeping into her calm voice.

Ah that's cute-

"Now let's go, there's people that need healing."

Seris yelled, waved her lantern and turned invisible, going into the shadow realm.

Jenos floated out behind her.

"AH- ouch! That hurts, Seris!"

Koga exclaimed, tears welling in his eyes as Seris used green light to fix up his scratches.

"You shouldn't have been such an idiot then."

Seris said simply, and Koga pouted.

"Oh come on Koga.."

Jenos whispered, suddenly floating behind Seris.

Seris looked up, obviously startled, and she then breathed out.

"Phew! You scared me, Jenos."

"Uh, I'll be leaving you two."

Koga said hastily, picking up his guns and running out, but not without sending a wink to Jenos on his way out.

Jenos rolled his eyes, and Seris shook her head in exasperation.

"Ugh. He's so reckless.."

"I know."

"Well I'll be heading back-"

"Wait! Seris, I have something to say!"

Seris turned around, confused.

"What..?"

"I.."

Jenos took Seris's pale hand in his hand.

"I like you."

Seris was shocked.

"U-Uh..."

Jenos quickly said, a blush on his face,

"I-I'm sorry I'm stupid I shouldn't have-"

Seris hugged Jenos, and whispered,

"Hush..."

She then broke away from the hug and kissed Jenos on the cheek.

"W-What?!"

"C'mon, dummy, let's go heal people!"

Her serious facade had melted away, and Jenos had achieved his goal.
