Furia x Reader

"Y/N! Be careful on the mission, please?"

Furia said, patting my back with her feathery wing, and I grinned up at her, nodding.

"I'll be careful!"

"Good.."

Furia murmured, leaning to my face to press her forehead to mine.

"I don't know what'd I'd do if I lost you.."

I stared at her, and I realized that my angel was starting to get a little emotional, her golden eyes filling up with tears.

"Furia, don't cry! I'll be okay, I promise!"

TIME SKIP

Well, this sucks.

I thought, as I battled Maeve on a crumbling cliff, the small girl giggling with delight when I stumbled.

"Sorry, kitten~"

She purred, before she threw a dagger at the stone underneath me, making it crumble even more.

"What the-"

I started to say, but I couldn't finish my sentence before I felt the sensation of falling.

"You-"

I screamed, as I fell off the cliff, into the darkness of the bottom. 

Maeve just stared at me falling, blue eyes gleaming with delight.

As I fell, I wondered how I was going to explain to Furia that I had died instead of coming back to her.

"Furia, I broke my promise.. I-I'm sorry.."

I said, tears trailing from my eyes. I closed them.

Suddenly, someone caught me, and I opened my eyes.

"F-Furia??"

I choked out, nearly dying of surprise, and she frowned at me.

"Y/N, I can't believe you! Ugh...!"

She hugged me close to her warm body, and she flew up, powerful wings beating the air. 

When we landed, I noticed that Maeve wasn't there anymore.

Cursed little cat thing..

"Y/N, you made me worry so much! You should feel bad!"

Furia said, pouting. She had put me down.

I glanced at her, and smiled sheepishly.

"Maeve made me fall off, sorry...?"

Furia opened her mouth as if she was going to argue with me, but she just smiled through her tears.

"I love you, ugh, I'm crying so much today..!"

She ran to me, and I hugged her.

"You're my angel... I'll never leave you."

Furia kissed my cheek, and rested her head on my shoulder.

"I hope..."
