Ch. 21: Mine

Lisa's POV

"Am I late?"

I immediately looked at Yoongi oppa. I can't understand what's going on.

"What are you talking about, oppa?" I let out a nervous laugh.

From the moment he texted me that he's outside, I've been feeling nervous about something.

He even asked me if I already like someone and in that moment, I wanted to confess to him. It seems like there's no turning back now when he's the one who opened this topic.

I'm just staring at him, observing his every move. He tried opening his mouth then closes it again, he can't seem to put things into words.

He also looked nervous and lost.

"Oppa? What do you mean by late?" I don't know why but I'm anticipating for his answer.

He turned to me, I gulped because of his intense gaze.

"I think I like you."

That came straightly at me. I was taken aback. I just looked at him with disbelief.

'Oh no. I must be dreaming. This can't be real.'

I blinked a few times. "Oppa, can you pinch me?"

He looked confused for a second. It seems like he's hesitating but then decided to lean forward to me.

I thought he'll really gonna pinch me but he hugged me instead.

My heart started to beat faster than ever, I started panicking. I closed my eyes and tried controlling my heartbeat because I don't want him to hear nor feel it.

I inhaled his scent, he really has a nice smell. His warmth also wrapped my small body.

'So this isn't a dream?'

That made me open my eyes again and then I was back on reality.

I pushed him lightly because I'm embarrassed that I just let him hugged me.

"U-uh. Are you serious with that, oppa?" I can't look at him because he might see me blushing.

"Yes. It finally daunted on me." He said without hesitation.

I can feel his stare that I became self-conscious for a moment.

"How?"

I wanna know. I want to know how it happened. I didn't see this coming. I tried suppressing my feelings for him but I can't.

"I also don't know. You're gaving me feelings which are all foreign to me and it really makes me crazy. Then Jimin helped me sort it out. That's why I slowly get to know what's this all about." He really looked like he had been troubled.

I can't even utter a word, and just stare at him. I'm still shocked by what's happening.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't be saying things like these. Just don't mind what I said." He turned and started walking away.

"Oppa, wait!" I absentmindedly grabbed his arm. He turned to me and looked at my hand holding his arm. I quickly let go of him.

He's now waiting for me to say something.

"What if I mind that?" I asked him. He just looked confused.

"Y-you're not" My lips are quivering, and I can't help but to stutter. I don't think I can continue my words. My emotions are overflowing right now.
