light Steve x dark steve

so my apologies for taking so long to get to this. now this was a request but I forgot who it was from and I'm to lazy to go back and look. into the story!

dark Steve's pov~
I was spying on light Steve, I do this a lot. ever sense they defeated nightmare Steve I would do this. I had a crush on light Steve for a while, but he could never like me back. he's a good Steve and I'm supost to be a bad steve. I'm not evil, I never have been. nightmare Steve took over me and made me get a bad reputation because I'm so powerful. I watch as Lucas and saber talk to light Steve, "dude do you want to go swimming with us?" saber asked light. he nods, the all walk to there room to change. I smile, there so free to do what ever they want now that nightmare Steve is gone. saber was done first, he walked to rainbows room to ask him to join them. rainbow ends up joining them while Lucas's and light walk to the lake. over time Lucas and saber have got an a relationship so it's nice to see that every now and then.

I teleport onto the rainbow house, so I can get closer to them. light Steve and them had been swimming for a while when rainbow sees me. he looks terrified, "rainbow what's wrong" saber asked, "d-d-d" he stutters trying to say my name. "what?" Lucas asked, rainbow just pointed to me. they looked at me scared, I teleported somewhere more hidden but I still can hear them. "why is dark steve here?!" "I forgot he was even a thing for a while." Lucas says, I feel hurt. I watch light Steve put down a sign. 'what does he want though? he didn't attack, did you notice he disappeared once I saw him though?' saber reads it aloud. "yeah that is weird, once rainbow saw him he didn't do anything." saber says. I smile, there correct. I teleport behind a tree close to them. "saber, something's here. I can feel it" rainbow says, Lucas and saber start looking around. I flash a bit of lightning and put a sign down where the lightning stroke. 'I won't hurt you, I'm not evil. I can hear you when you talk aloud.' i wrote, "wait what?" saber says, light looked scared. he can talk I know but chooses not to.

"wait so you can hear me?" Lucas asked, I place a sign down with lightning. 'yes' "who are you?" Lucas calls out, looking around. I place another sign. 'I'm afraid I can't tell you, but you can call me shadow' I wrote. "why shadow" saber asked. 'i hide in the shadows, now I'll leave you be. just remember im always around' I write, rainbow and light look at each other. they all went back to there day normally, once they all had there backs turned I picked up the signs. light Steve wrote on a sign saying he's going to go lay down. he walked up to his room, "why? why was it only me?" light Steve mumbles to him self, while he had his back turned I placed down a sign. 'you should show them you can talk you know. you have a pretty voice' I point out. he just looks at the sign like it was bomb about to explode. "wait your here?" light Steve whispers, I change out the signs and put on saying yes. "why are you here" light Steve asks. 'you'll find out soon enough. now why don't you show them your voice?' I ask again. "we should do a question for a question, so it's fair. I don't show them my voice because win scared they'll hate it." light Steve says looking down. "now, can you actually talk?" light Steve asked, 'of course. would you like me to talk normally?' I ask, "you would actually do that for me?" light Steve asked. 'of course.' I write, "then do it"

"hey" I say, some might say I have a deep voice. "woah" he whispers. "so shadow, why don't you ever talk?" light steve asked. "wait, saber and Lucas are coming." I tell him, I quickly destroy the sign. light lays down, saber knocks on the door and opens it, walking in. "hey light Steve, you left so early I wanted to see if you were ok." saber says knealing down next to light Steve. light Steve nods. saber walks out and walked with Lucas into Lucas's room. I closed the door properly. "ok, your safe" I say, "ok now answer my question." light Steve says. "well for most of my life I was mind controlled by someone who thought I couldn't talk so I never did. after that I just didn't really have anyone to talk to" I explain. light Steve looked sad. "wow..." he trails of. "why did you want to know?" I ask, "because" light Steve says. I chuckle, "that's not a good reason but I'll let it slide." I say. I see him blush. "may I ask why you won't show me who you are?" light Steve asked. he leaned against the headboard, "tired?" I asked, he nods. "i can't show you who I am because you would hate me." I say simply, "why?" light asked.
