night pov~
I watched my boss pace, holding his head. as much as I would love to help him, i would get in trouble. my boss is very strict, and how could I break the rules of someone as cute as him? I know, i know, it would be weird to like your boss. but i don't care, i walk out. "what's wrong?" I ask softly, he looks up at me quickly. "it's just... i can't seem to figure out this machine." he says, pointing at a building behind him. "where did you find this?" I ask. "saber and rainbow made it." he says. I nod, "did you make sure you copied the whole machine?" I ask. he nods. I dig one block, a big space lied underneath. I look around at the redstone, "it looks like a machine to enhance powers." I say, he drops down. "how did you?" he asked. I shrug, "I've been dealing with them for a while, i learned that most machines they make now days have the redstone underneath. knowing the redstone pattern helps to know what it does. here, some of the redstone is missing so they probably hadn't finnished it yet." I explain. he looks at me, "how have you never told me stuff like this?" he asked. "what do you mean?" he looks around, "that you could understand stiff like this." he says. I shrug, "never came up" I say. I pull out the redstone and place a bit, then fly up. I look around, i place some blocks. "place what ever you want to use to power somebody in the chest and it's done." I say, sitting on top. he looks amazed, i hear lightning. I look at boss and he nods, we teleport to the lightning. it was them summoning time Steve, they talked about their plans. I document it in my head, i study the way they walked and talked. they didn't use the machine yet I see. time Steve leaves as does saber, we teleport back. I think about this, how do we counter their attack? "do you think they have used the machine yet?" element asked me. I shake my head, "there's no way, unless they knew we watched them and hid it specifically." I mumble absent mindedly. he looked at me with a suspicious look, "what are you thinking?" he asked.

"well, they is no way to know we had spied, so why wouldn't they use the machine? my thoughts are, they're either waiting for a moment to power up time steve, waiting to get some power source to power up a Steve, or maybe their construct was off because they haven't made a machine in a while so it's a different type of machine then what I thought." I explain. he processes this, "okay..." he says. then silence falls over us.

I then think of an idea, i materialize a paper, i then write some cordnates and the words 'secreat base' on it. "what are you doing?" my boss asked me. "I was thinking, what if we make a trap. then we can lure them there." I say. he looks at me skeptically. "first off, wouldn't they see its just a trap? and if that's just left laying around they'll think it's a trap." he points out, i smirk. "exactly. as for the first part, we'll desiguse it as an actaully building. and knowing them, one will think of it being a trap, then the other will say they had to go or they won't know, then end going." I explain, he nods. "let's get to work" he says. I nod.

-elements pov~ also after the trap is done-

I watch as nightmare flies around, making sure it's hidden, and all works properly. it cute to see him nerd out, he's a very smart steve, i must say. he lands back next to me, "all set!" he says. I nod, we fly over to where saber and rainbow were talking. I hide while nightmare appears on a tree, where they can see him. "r-rainbow" saber says. rainbow turns to nightmare. nightmare teleports away, leaving the paper. and so the plan is set, they see the paper, and as predicted, rainbow was suspicious and saber persuaded him to go. so they went to mine and get ready, nightmare and me fly down infront of the machine. he looks around, "it doesn't seem to have changed. maybe their waiting for something." he whispers. "galaxy steve" I say. "hm?" he looked at me. "galaxy steve, a very powerful Steve who lost his memories. also losing the memory of how to use his powers. they probably are trying to get his powers 'back'." I explain. he nods, "well, at least they constructed wrong. so it won't work." I nod. we go back to the base, nightmare went to do something while i went and trained more.
