Rin laughed mockingly at him, "You really think that you can take me down with your flimsy lightning?" She glanced down at the blue sparks coming from the hilt of his sword. With a wild guess she grinned. "Besides you're not that strong to change the direction of it mid fight." Rin takes out her hand to inspect her nails mockingly. "We also both know that I'm the superior fighter, so let's just settle this like civil beings."
Sasuke glares but let's go of his sword hilt. "What do you want?" He demands. His eyebrows furrowed.
Rin snorted. "You think I'll tell you outright? Remember here you're the quote on quote 'enemy.'" Her lopsided grin painting her face. "Anyways," she spoke. "Follow me."
Her feet lead her back to the main road of the small town as she kept an eye on the boy behind her. He was tense as one should be when a ninja from their ex- village turns up out of the blue. But curious enough to follow.
Well not that out of the blue, he should've been expecting some form of confrontation over the year.
"So what's it like being a traitor?" She asked as they strolled. "It must be very heavy on your self conscious." Sasuke glared at the black haired girl in front of him.
"Hn."
Rin looked behind her at the boy just to roll her eyes. Her footsteps slowing down as they reached a small restaurant that only served tea. Pulling back the flap she entered with her "hostage."
The two sat at a table in the front as the waitress walked up to them, a smile on her face.
She pulled back her hood and took it off to place in a scroll. "I'll have a green tea please." She said not looking up from the menu. When she didn't hear anything from the boy across from her she kicked him in the shins.
"I'll have the same."
"Aw it's so nice to take your girlfriend out once in a while! It must be nice to have young love!" The waitress sighed happily, causing the both of them to stare into the waitress dead in the eyes.
"I'm sorry but I'm way out of his league."
"I'm here against my will."
Rin chuckled under her breath as the waitress blushed and muttered an apology. She closed her eyes only to open them when she felt the stare of impending doom upon her.
"Yes emo?"
Ignoring the nickname he glared. "Why am I here?" He demanded once more.
"Come back to the leaf village." She spoke, as the tea arrived. The cup was warm in her hands.
"No."
Rin sighed. "Can't tell Kakashi I didn't try." She took a long sip of the warm leaf juice. Only to scrunch her nose because it was just warm leaf juice. "I'm here on a mission." She stated.
Sasuke leans forward as he folded his hands under his chin.
"I'm assuming you don't like Orochimaru and are only using him for power. Cause that sounds like something you would do." She gave him a pointed look.
"Hn."
"Exactly my point!" She exclaimed. "Your hair does look like a ducks butt." Sasukes stare bore into her soul, as she gave him an exasperated look. "See, if you want me to know what the hell you're talking about you gotta give me an actual answer."
"...fine." He mumbled.
"So, since I'm here on a job and I've seen to run into you. And you hate Orochimaru. I was thinking." The black haired girl leaned forward, and told a truth for once. "You give me what I need and I'll keep the Leaf off your back."
Sasuke leaned against his chair, with his tea in his hand.
"And what makes you think, that I would take you up on that deal?" He questioned.
Rin grinned once more. As the truth slipped out easily from her lips once more. "Because the only loyalty I have is towards Kakashi, not towards the Leaf."
