Kakashi's Summon

Part 4: Waxing Gibbous

Rin shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know, but probably not much." She took note of the bundle on his back wearily, two swords on his waist and a scratched out headband.

The swordsman laughed loudly, giving a hearty chuckle. "I am Raiga Kurosuki. Ex swordsman of the Mist. I suggest you run, I do love a good game of cat and mouse."

Sasuke let out a silent "hn," in response must to the displeasure of everyone there.

"Well," Rin placed a hand on Sasuke's shoulder. "We'd better get running shouldn't we?" Sasuke whipped his head around to look at the girl in shock. He stared at a while as he let the girl tap on his shoulder.

"Hn." Sasuke was the first to jump and disappear much to Raiga's surprise. But he didn't care since there was one little mouse standing in front of him.

Swiping his swords from the sides of his body. "Kirigakure no jutsu!" The area was soon blanketed by a thick mist imbued with chakra. Rin breathed out slowly, lowering her summoner's chakra levels the best she could.

Ninja were known to be silent but the crackle of lightning sparking, wasn't.

Rin jumped to the side avoiding a blade covered in electricity. She then countered with a kick to his head. Raiga flew back onto the house behind them, landing further away then intended.

(She also cringed at the damage, but she was used to it. Being a fairy tail wizard and all.)

He landed on his back, causing the package on his back cry out. Rin titled her head. That was to say the least odd. She took a few steps back as the crackle continued.

Raiga without fail let out another laugh, his pupils were dilated to the point they were gone. Rin shivered, not liking the state of mind this man was in. "Oh when I'm done with you, you'll have a pretty funeral! A beutiful one!"

The man connected the two hilts of his swords creating a double edged one. Twisting his arm, he swung violently and pushed forward, letting the chakra surge throughout his body.

Rin jumped away and raised her hand into the air. "Ogmios' whip!" She shouted. The black handle that had dropped from the red magic circle expanded into a series of long iron rods and bones. Being held together by chains that clasped onto it.

Rin flicked her wrist letting the whip catch on hellfire, letting it burn its way through the mist. She rose her hand once more and threw it foreword.

The chain slithered on the ground and wrapping itself around Raiga. Causing him and the bundle on his back cry out in pain. "SASUKE NOW!" She screamed as the enemy wiggled around in her grip.

Sasuke came out of the darkness with his sword drawn. From behind as he flew through the mist, he slammed the hilt of his sword to the back of Raiga's head. Ending the chaos.

Rin panted and let go of the weapon in her hands letting it dissolve to black dust. The duck butt in front of her took some near by rope and tied Raiga's hands together. Kicking the infamous twin swords Kiba to the side.

Sasuke peered at Rin from the corner of his eyes suspiciously. "How'd you do that?" He questioned quietly. Rin turned her head towards the side pretending not to hear him. "Why is it whenever I'm near you, I don't sense your chakra. Especially when you're battling." Rin pursed her lips and refused to answer.

Sasuke done with this interrogation turned Rin around by grabbing her shoulders. He clutched deep into her flesh, pressing for answers. His eyes were red and the infamous three tomed Uchiha eyes came out to play. "Answer me." He growled.

Rin knocked off both of his hands with a roll of her eyes. She turned to the man on the ground and crouched, covering his eyes she concentrated as another red magic circle covered the wide spread area.

"Maybe one day, I'll tell you."

Rin in her dog mask stood in front of Lady Tsunade awaiting her next orders. She glanced around, not much had changed to the office, even the village from when she had disappeared.

Well that was until Sakura walked in.

Rin stiffened as Sakura handed some papers to Lady Tsunade, avoiding eye contact with the girl. Rin let out a silent breath of relief. She didn't want to answer any unnecessary questions.

Sakura has grown in the few months that had past. She still sported her green eyes and pale skin. But underneath her red shirt contained some muscle. Rin smiled, she seemed to be doing well for herself.

But she made the mistake of glancing at the top of her head. Pink hair.

Rin quickly averted her eyes and slipped the newly finished mission report from out her sleeve. The girl let out a quick cough and placed the red scroll in front of Tsunade. With a bow towards the Hokage, she left silently.

Sakura turned to her mentor curiously. "I've never seen them around before, have they recently been promoted to ANBU?"

Tsunade hummed and nodded, looking at the scroll. "Yes, they're going to have a few days off before their next mission. So if they come to the hospital please take extra precaution of their injuries."

Sakura bobbed her head. "Of course, my lady."
