34. Me and You Too

I threw my head back on the couch and relaxed. The house was quiet which gave me time to just think. I went upstairs and took a shower before coming down to get something to eat

I made a sandwich and sat in front of the tv. Teen titans was on and thanks to Leroy it caught my interest

After I was done eating, I cleaned up and went back to the couch. My phone started to ring and I picked up

"Hello"

There was a pause "Hey beautiful. Are you home?"

The sound of his voice made my tummy feel some type of way. I might have been ignoring him all this time but I did miss him

"Yeah"

"That's good because... I'm outside"

I got up from the couch and walked to the door with the phone still pressed to my ear "At this rate I'll just change your name from baby blue to night walker" I said opening the door

He was standing with a box of pizza in hand

It's a wonder how the man could look hot in even a plain shirt and jeans.

"I come bearing gifts"

I stepped aside "I see. So what brings you here?"

"What" he shrugged "Can't I visit my amazingly hot girlfriend for no apparent reason at all?"

"You talked to Drake didn't you?"

"No. Why would you assume I talked to Drake?"

"Because I spent the afternoon with him and Garfield"

"You spent the afternoon with Drake?" He asked looking genuinely confused by the idea

"I just said that and are you coming in or what?"

He walked in and I closed the door behind him

"What would you possibly talk about with Drake?"

"I needed someone to talk to. I have more going on in my life than a boyfriend who won't talk to me"

"In my defence you're the one who stopped talking to me"

"That's not what I mean and you know it" I said grabbing the pizza box and going to sit down on the couch

"Look I know I haven't been-" he stopped midsentence and cocked an eyebrow "Are you watching Regular show?"

"Don't judge me, it's a very interesting cartoon"

"Leroy rubbed off on you right?"

"He did"  I said quietly while looking down at the pizza

"Okay beautiful, speak up. What is it?"

I looked at him for a minute contemplating whether I should tell him or not

"I just found out that I have sisters"

His eyebrows shot up and his eyes went a little wider before he sat down next to me  "Wait what? How?"

"Do you really want me to explain how I came about having two sisters?"

He gave me a droll stare "You know what I mean?"

"My Dad cheated"

He placed a kiss on my temple "I'm sorry to hear that. Did your Mom tell you?"

"No Vanessa and her Mom did. I doubt my Mother would have ever told me"

"I guess she was only trying to protect you and do you mean Vanessa from the coffee shop Vanessa?"
