Napa-angat ng tingin si Noah, Dylan at Santi nang pumasok si Liam sa dining room.

Fire's munching bread while reading the morning newspaper.

Umupo si Liam sa harap nila at naghanda ng pagkain sa sarili nitong plato.

Siniko ni Dylan si Santi.

"What?" Lingon ni Santino sa katabi. Dylan tilted his head towards Liam. "Ano ba itatanong ko?"

"Soooo..." Panimula nalang ni Noah sips his black coffee from a steaming mug. "How's your n-night? Di ka na n-nakasali sa kasiyahan naming kagabi?"

Liam, with messy bed hair, dark-circles under his eyes and stubbles worth a day on his jawline, looks like someone who never got a blink of sleep. "Well... it was..."

Dylan, Santi... and even Fire who lowered the newspaper he's reading, waited for his answer.

"It was????" Noah asks, also waiting.

Liam heaves a sigh. "Hard."

Nanlaki ang mata nila Dylan at Santi. Fire resumes reading.

"What do you mean hard?" Being a doctor.. Noah knew 'hard' has different meanings. On Liam's case, hard can mean... he had some trouble sleeping.. or.. 'something' is hard.

Umiling nalang si Liam at puyat na puyat na humikab. "Shit.. I need a 24 hour sleep."

"Good morning." June greeted them lively. She's on a bathrobe when she entered the room. "Isla's not up yet?" Kumuha ito ng hiniwang prutas sa mesa at sinubo.

Liam grunts hearing Isla's name. Something on his body... reacted. He just focuses on cooling his mug of coffee.

"Where's July?" Tanong ni Fire.

"Oh, she's at the shore. Talking to the yacht driver. We're snorkeling today, di'ba?" [A/N: Snorkeling - is the practice of swimming/diving through a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped breathing tube called a snorkel, and usually swimming flippers/fins}

"Uhhhh.." Iwas na tingin ni Santino.

Nameywang ang babae. "Gagawa ka na naman ng excuse para di sumama, so you could hang out with those 'girls'? Santino... this is a simple family event. Don't ditch out."

"You sound like an old woman, Juniper Vera."

June raises a dirty at him. "No one will stop me cursing since Clau's not here." Nilingon ni June si Liam. "Nakatulog ka ba ng maayos kagabi? Para kang sabog 'ah."

Liam let out a shallow laugh. "Di nga ako nakatulog..."

"Uhhnnn.." Takip ni Isla sa unan sa mga mata niya. The sunlight piercing through the windows is hurting her closed-eyes. "P-Pea..." Tawag niya sa alagang pusa. "P-Pakisara naman ng kurtina 'oh.." She pulls the blanket to cover her head. "Peashooter.. p-please.."
