You and Leo were sitting together on Half-Blood Hill, talking about haywire automatons and new gadgets. Your hands worked absentmindedly, twisting wires and gears into a motorised dragonfly that began to flit around your head.
"Hey, (Y/N), " Leo said. "I'd like to show you something. "
He pulled you to your feet and brought you to the Hephasteus cabin.
A small box sat on the table. Leo pushed a button on his Wii controller and you watched, mesmerised, as it began unfolding itself and eventually formed a bouquet of beautifully crafted bronze flowers. He picked it up and gave it to you.
"Happy birthday, (Y/N). " he said, pecking your lips.
