A few hours have passed since I woke up. The nurses and doctors have been coming in every so often to check up on me, asking me if I need anything. I always tell them I don't need anything so they can leave faster, so I can spend time alone with Jimin.

"What happened?" I ask Jimin, my voice calm.

"Alice stabbed you," Jimin says in a soft tone, his eyes filling back with worry. "The knife didn't cause any major damage. She was too weak from you choking her, so the knife only went an inch deep."

"How long do I have to stay here?"

"You should be able to leave in a few hours."

I sit and bask in the silence of the room for a moment, thinking about how I'm going to explain what happened to my mom when I see her tonight. My eyes widen and I snap my head back in Jimin's direction.

"What time is it?" I ask urgently.

"Five thirty," Jimin says after he looks at the clock on his phone. "Why?"

"I was supposed to bring Yumi to see our mom tonight," I say in a rushed tone. "She's going to be devastated."

"I called Chae from your phone," Jimin speaks up. "She's taking Yumi to see your mom. Don't worry."

"What did you tell her?" I ask, looking away from him, my eyes gluing themselves to the ceiling.

"You're sick," he says. "I also asked my mom to watch Yumi tonight."

I blink and turn my head to face him again, my eyes looking into his.

"She said yes," he smiles slightly. "I told her what happened, and she's willing to watch Yumi for as long as you need."

I nod and go to say something, but the door to the room slowly opens, revealing Seokjin on the other side.

"You're being emitted," he speaks with a smile. "There are patients in much worse case than you, so I talked them into letting you go."

I smile as I sit up, excitement rushing through me.

"You can go to school, if you want, I'll write you a doctors note just in case you want the time off," Jin pulls a notepad out of his pocket and scribbles something down before tearing the sheet away and handing it to Jimin. He turns back to face me. "You're not allowed to lift heavy objects, especially above your head. And if you're going to do any exercise, keep it low impact."

"I don't work out," I furrow my brows.

"Not what I meant," he looks at Jimin and then back to me, his eyebrows wiggling.

"Jin!" I squeal as I throw my pillow at him. "Don't do that!"

He chuckles. "I'm just saying, calm movements for at least a week," his face becomes stern. "Jimin, make sure she's careful."

Jimin nods. "I wouldn't let her hurt herself."

Jin nods. "I've already done your paperwork, so you can leave whenever you'd wish," he nods before leaving the room, closing the door behind him.

I sigh before removing the blanket from my body, revealing the bare skin of my legs. I giggle before pulling the blanket back on.

"I don't have underwear on," I whisper, my cheeks turning red.

"Your clothes were covered in blood, so I had Chae bring clothes for you," Jimin picks up a bag from the floor beside him, handing it to me.

I clear my throat. "I might need help with my upper body clothing," I open the bag and pull out underwear and sweatpants before sliding them under the blanket so I can put them on.

"I won't look," Jimin says as he stands up, he begins to untie the string to my hospital gown so I can pull it off the front of my body.

A burning red comes to my cheeks. "I don't mind, Jimin."

There is an awkward silence before I turn my body toward Jimin, his body freezing as I begin to pull the gown off of the front of my body. His eyes stay frozen, not moving away from my face as I remove my arms from the gown, dropping it onto the bed beside me.

Jimin clears his throat. "I need your verbal consent that I'm allowed to touch you," his voice is quiet, his eyes vibrating as he tries to keep them focused on my face.

"You're my boyfriend, Jimin," I say, my voice calm. "Of course you're allowed to touch me."

Jimin smiles slightly before shaking his head. "You need clothes," he chuckles. "Put your arms out."

I put my arms out, and Jimin slides the straps of my bra over them before walking around me to fasten the bra in place. His hands are cold against my skin, I shiver out of shock before quickly pulling my breasts into the bra so they're sitting properly.

"Arms up," Jimin demands as he ruffles a hoodie in his hands. He slides the hoodie over my head and helps me slide my arms through the sleeves before pulling it down my body.

"Thank you," I smile, pulling my hair out of the hoodie. He nods before rushing around the room to gather our things, throwing them into a backpack. "Should we go home now?"

"Home," he chuckles, looking me in the eyes softly. "It's your house, Taishi. I'm just a guest."

I shake my head. "Home is where I feel the most comfortable, you make me feel comfortable," I smile softly, cupping his face with my hands in the same way he does to me. I kiss him gently on the nose before standing up, his tall frame towering over me slightly. "Home is wherever you are."
