Okay, I'm sorry this took so long. I've been sick for a couple of days now, and I don't have a lot of energy so writing was difficult.
I put Dagur (and he is the chief of the Beserker Tribe-- I can't be for sure but I thought he was an Outcast for a while. Oh well. It's okay.) in this because I don't have many ideas left soooo yeah. Enjoy this terribly edited chapter.

As you put (d/n) back in the stables Stoick finds you. "Great." You mutter to yourself as he walks towards you. You know it's never easy to lie to the chief of Berk. "H-Hey, Stoick." You force a nervous smile and wave.

"Did you find Hiccup?" He asks sternly. "I need to tell him about some upcoming visitors."

"Uh well, no. We were looking around but then..." You look around for an excuse. (D/n) nudges your leg and you softly pet her. "A-and then (D/n) here started feeling a little sick so we had to turn back." You quickly lied, looking down at your dragon for help. Her (e/c) eyes widened and she let out a small coughing sound and moaned miserably.

"Oh." Stoick says. "I see." He pets (D/n) and then smiles up at you. "Why don't you take her home with you and make sure she feels better."

"Okay." You say quickly, and both of you quickly walk away. As soon as Stoick is out of sight you turn to (D/n). You both grin at each other. "Think he bought it?" She makes a squeaking sound, almost like she agrees. "Great. Okay."

As you and (D/n) sit in front of the fireplace and eat a small lunch, you remember what Stoick said. "I wonder what visitors are coming to Berk." (D/n) grumbles and eats the rest of her fish.

Later that day you walk into the Great Hall. Everyone is their usual, loud and happy selves. You sit at your table and (D/n) curls up around your feet. You pull some meat off the bone and hold it out to her. She gratefully takes it. Hands fall on your shoulders, making you jump. "Evening, milady." Hiccup says.

"Gods, Hiccup. You scared me." You say, scooting over so he has room to sit beside you.

"Sorry." He says, looking around.

"Trying to avoid your dad?" You ask.

"Yeah. He said he had something to tell me when I stopped to take Toothless home so he could rest and so I just ran here before he could talk."

"Hiccup, I think you should talk to him. Make sure he listens." You say.

"It's not that easy, ___."

"I know." You sigh. "But I'm tired of-"

"Hiccup!" Stoick booms from the front doors.

"Think I still have time to run?" Hiccup asks, rising out of his seat.

"No." You say, jumping up and grabbing his hand. He sighs and forces a smile.

"Dad! I was wondering when you'd... show up." Hiccup's sentence grows quiet, and he looks down to avoid his father's angry look.

"Hiccup. Enough of this, running off!" He says. "Now come on, son. I have something to discuss with you." Stoick grabs Hiccup's arm and drags him out the doors. Hiccup clenches your hand tightly, not allowing you to leave his side. He stares at you, and you nod encouragingly. "Actually, Dad... There's something I need to discuss with you."

"No time." He says.

"Dad, please-"

"Hiccup, no. I've got to prepare-"

"Dad! Just listen!"

"Hiccup!" Stoick turns around and glares down at his son. Hiccup automatically backs away a little, taking you with him. "For once, please, just stop. Listen."

Hiccup sighs and you take his hand tightly in both of yours. "Okay." He says quietly.

"Okay. Now Hiccup, the Berserker Tribe are currently docking." Hiccup's eyes widen and he steps closer to Stoick.

"What?" He asks. "I-I thought we weren't exactly in the treaty anymore..."

"We're trying this again. Hiccup, I'm not going to be chief much longer. I need you to be able to keep Berk from absolute war." He says. "So please at least pretend to be kind and chief like, son."

"Okay." Hiccup says quietly.

Stoick nods and walks towards the docks, gesturing for the both of you to follow him. "Who are the Berserkers?" You ask quietly. "I know they're a tribe but..."

"I don't know what Dad is thinking. Dagur, the chief, hates us. He may or may not of wanted all of us dead."

"What?" You gasp. "Hiccup-"

"Who knows, maybe it's different." He says as you reach the docks.

A smaller, crazed looking man walks off the ship, standing proudly with a sword in his hand. "Dagur." Stoick greets him, and Dagur nods.

"Stoick." He says. He leans around Stoick and stares at Hiccup. "Hiccup! My brother." He smiles and walks closer.

"Brother?" You mutter.

Dagur's eyes fall on you and widen. "And who is this?"

Hiccup steps in front of you slightly and says, "____." Dagur grins at you.

"Pleasure to meet you. I am Dagur the Deranged." His eyes fall down to the ground in front of your feet and back up to your eyes. You uncomfortably look up at Hiccup, who stiffens.

"Alright." Hiccup says, pushing you completely behind him. "I think it's time to take ___ home." He turns and pushes you forward, shielding you from Dagur's eyes. "I'll see you later, Dagur." , just stop. Listen."

Hiccup sighs and you take his hand tightly in both of yours. "Okay." He says quietly.
