Chapter 30.
It had been a week.
A week since Niall's birthday, a week since Niall's last attack, and a week since Niall remembered everything. Ironically tomorrow was Louis' birthday.
He had kept it all to himself, for now at least. He needed to make sense of it all for himself, before telling Harry or the others about it. How could Louis do something like this?
Not that he was surprised though, considering all that the boy had done to him before. Niall groaned as he splashed water on his face before running his hands over his face. It was 2 o'clock in the morning and his thoughts kept him up.
He opened the door, shutting off the light as he walked out into the hallway. He shuffled down the hall, making his way to the kitchen, maybe some hot tea would help clear his mind.
He grabbed the kettle and filled it with water, putting it on the stovetop. He let his thoughts consume him as he waited for the kettle to heat up.
"Niall?"
Niall tensed up at the voice, letting out a frusterated sigh. "What, Louis?" he asked, not wanting to confront him just yet. Louis bit his lip, grabbing a glass of milk. "I just..." he began but was cut off as Niall put his hand up.
"Its late, I'm going back to bed." he stated, ending the conversation. Louis sighed as Niall walked back into Harry's room, shutting the door.

Everyone was gathered around the table in Harry's flat, cake being plated and served about. It wasn't a party like Niall's but Louis' get together consisted of a few close friends, Ed included.
It was sort of funny because at the club, Harry assumed he saw Ed and Louis together, but it just so happens that it was a random red headed bloke. Harry watched everyone carefully, eyeing his blonde boyfriend that was now cutting pieces of cake for everyone.
A smile crosse his face as he watched the grin on Niall's face grow when he was talking to someone. His eyes drifted to Louis, who was sat next to Zayn. Harry squinted his eyes slightly, zeroing on the pairs semi hidden intertwined. Harry smiled, he had high hopes that Zayn would steer Louis in the right direction.
"Present time!" Leeroy yelled, coming into the room with Liam trailing, each carrying a few presents. Louis smiled, feeling loved for once. He wished he would've gotten the chance to talk to Niall.

Louis sat in Zayn's room, cuddling the dark haired boy. He giggled softly as Zayn nipped at his neck before pressing a soft kiss to his cheek.
"Z, what are we?" Louis says, now straddling Zayn, both only in boxers. Zayn reached one of his hands up, lacing his fingers with Louis'.
"Well what do you want us to be?" Zayn asked, a light smile crossing his face.
Louis began to answer, before a sharp pain appeared in his temples. He groaned, the pain causing him to fall onto the bed, off of Zayn.
Everything came tumbling back to him at once.

The boy... Niall.
It had only lasted a few moments, short enough for Louis to say it was only a migrain or something to the worrying Zayn.

"Lou?" Zayn said, nudging him out of his thoughts. Louis shook his head and smiled, beginning opening the gifts he got.
A shirt from Harry, a watch from Zayn, tickets to see a show from Leeroy and Veronica, and shoes from Liam. Leeroy handed him the last gift.
Louis unwrapped the shiny foil to find a box. He open the box carefully and pulled out a red and white striped shirt, a note folded neatly at the bottom.
Louis picked up the note and read outloud.
"Happy Birthday Louis. From one friend to another. -Niall. "
Everyone smiled at Niall, the gift seeming to be completely harmless. Niall sent a overly nice smile towards Louis, who gulped slightly. He knew what this ment, this ment Niall knew and he had to explain to him everything.
