When you're surrounded by all these people, it can be lonelier than when you're by yourself. You can be in a huge crowd, but if you don't feel like you can trust anyone or talk to anybody, you feel like you're really alone.

When she ran, it felt like my heart cracked slightly.
Marcel stood beside me, his whole body tense, seemingly with anticipation. He had a smirk on his lips, a mocking look in his eyes and a posture that stood strong and dominant.
"Do you know her?" I asked.
He nodded. "Yeah. Used to live with her."
"Roomies?"
"Siblings."
