The forest was no big deal, since we had wolves by our side. With wolves that size, they'd probably be able kill anything that came against us. As soon as we heard voices, we all stopped in our tracks to listen.
"Princess Alpha. I thought your job was to bring back at least one of the two princesses. You know, Mora and Kloe?" a male voice asked.
The next voice that spoke made my heart miss a beat.
"Just! Just stop! It's not like they can come here again. They wouldn't know how to. Especially that woods girl. Besides, I wanna be the new queen. Bringing them back makes it worse!".
...'platinum blonde hair'... 'bright blue eyes'...
'"Please stop!". The girl continued to run away, like she couldn't afford to share.'
"I'm gonna kill that girl right n-"
"Don't,"Furtus warned."If you do, the whole kingdom will turn against you for murder. You wouldn't want that.".
The wolf pack continues to move on, but I wait behind.
"I'll get you, Alpha," I snarled. "Just wait and see."
