*He laughs at them and continues his game* After an hour he goes to sleep*

*The next morning he gets up* Good morning dad. You're up early *Sees him in the recliner drinking coffee and reading a newspaper*

George's Dad: I've got a meeting this morning

George: Oh ok. Sounds boring. Are meetings at your job fun?

George's Dad: Sometimes they can be somewhat entertaining

George: That's good. Dad have you seen Athena? I was looking for her when I woke up

George's Dad: Yeah she's right here on my lap

George: So that's where you went. Silly girl. Dad isn't a playground

George's Dad: It's ok. I enjoy the company. Her presence is relaxing. I know I'm going to have a long day at work. It's good to leave a tolerable mood

George: That's true

*Feeds the cats, eats breakfast and goes to school*

*Later that afternoon at the community center*

Logan: Ok, Max that part needs more paint

Max: Which color?

Logan: Blue

Max: Dark blue or Light blue?

Logan: Mix them together. It'll look better that way *His phone rings* Hello? Hi James, what's wrong? No I can't help you with your homework right now. I'm very busy. Doing something important with Max. Yes it's still the same project. I know we've been working on it for a long time. No I can't come home right now. If you need help ask Katie to help you with your homework. What do you mean she's just a kid. She's a very smart kid. You're embarrassed to ask her for help? Why? Cuz she's going to tease you about it? Of course she will. That's what she does. Just ask her and quit being stubborn. I've got to go now. *Hangs up and sighs*

Max: Is everything ok with James?

Logan: Yeah he's fine. Just having some homework trouble

Max: Which subject?

Logan: Geometry

Max: Yikes. I like math just like you but when I was in middle school it was my worst nightmare. In high school it's even worse. But I had tutoring and learned to understand. I can help him out

Logan: I think he would really appreciate that. Cuz he definitely doesn't listen to me

Max: How do you help him?

Logan: I usually tell him to make flash cards but he tells me that he gets way too many paper cuts and his hands are too "special" to be "damaged"

Max:(confused) Uh..what?

Logan: I know right he's so weird

Max: Well we're just about done here. We should lock up and go home. I somehow got paint in my hair

Logan: How did you do that?

Max: I was itchy and forgot which hand had paint on it
