*In Apartment 2J* She walks in and steps on a squeaky toy. She looks down at it confused then is tackled to ground by a small furry body and she realizes it's Zoey*

Zoey what are you doing here?! Oh my gosh your new family must be worried sick about you. How did you get here?

Tyler: Surprise

Katie: Huh? I don't understand. What's happening right now

Tyler: Zoey is all yours

Katie: But Officer Garcia told me she was adopted by a family with a girl my age

Tyler: That's you silly head *Laughs*
I set this all up. My mom and your mom worked together to arrange all this for you

Katie: My mom helped with this? Yeah right
She's anti pet. No way in a million years would she ever allow me to have a pet. I'm not buying it

Tyler: But it's true look here's the adoption papers she had to sign *Shows them to her*

Katie: Wow its really true. This is amazing

*The boys and Ms. Knight walk in*

Ms. Knight: I see you got your surprise

Katie: Why did you do this for after telling me several times I can't have a pet. Is this some sort of prank? What's the catch?

Ms. Knight: There's no catch. It's not a prank. I had some time to think and I just thought everything you went through with Tyler almost moving away and all the stress you've had with school and puberty that you deserve a reward. You're so very responsible and mature and are definitely more than ready for a pet to call your own

Kendall: Wow so she's really here to stay. This will be fun
