Tyler: Is this some sort of joke mom? We're really staying?

Tyler's Mom: It's not a joke and yes we're staying for good

Katie: What made you change your mind? Why now?

Tyler's Mom: In that ditch I did some thinking and I thought if we get rescued that I would owe it to Tyler to do something worth being forgiven for

Tyler: Thanks mom. You owe everyone here an apology especially Katie

Tyler's Mom: I deeply apologize to all of you. Katie you have displayed endless loyalty and respect for my son and I truly do appreciate that. It's just that your friendship with him is absolutely incredible. When I was a child I didn't have any friends. I was too shy. Kids teased me cuz of my weight. Nobody wanted to be friends with the freckled red headed girl with glasses whose lunchbox was filled with fried chicken or any other unhealthy food. Tyler was going through the same experience in Indiana but when we came here and he met you his whole world changed. You're the first kid to ever not judge him on his weight. All you wanted was a friend to hang out with and that's exactly what you both got. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm jealous. Tyler is all I have and auditions keep our bills payed and with the knowledge of him not wanting to be an actor worrying me I figured this career will tear us apart. I just wanted to mend the broken bond we have. Can you ever forgive me?

Katie: Wow I don't know what to say. I sympathize with you on your lonely childhood. I had one too in Minnesota. Nobody my age would ever even talk to me. All the girls in my school didn't think it was normal that I liked getting dirty in the mud instead of wanting to dress up dolls or wear make up. I just wasn't interested in that stuff and I'm still not (sighs) He's your only kid. Let him be a kid

Tyler's Mom: I understand. Tyler I'm terribly sorry for all I've put you through. It wasn't fair to neither of us and I promise to work really hard to do better

Tyler: Thanks mom that's all I've ever wanted

Officer Garcia: We can go now. The rain has let up a bit

*They all return to the Palm Woods*

Jesse: I'm so glad you're ok Tyler. I was really worried about you

Tyler: Wow thanks

Jesse: Now we can hang out in the game room all night

Tyler: That does sound like fun

Katie: I'm going to beat all my high scores and bust you two into the ground

*They just look at her then each other then back at her again and they all laugh and go to the game room*
