You and Yoongi walked hand in hand out of the train station and toward the bar, smiling. You wore his black beanie and one of his T-shirts over your tight jeans, wanting to be surrounded by his comforting scent all evening. He squeezed your hand encouragingly and rubbed the back of it with his thumb. He knew you were a little nervous about going back into the bar, but he had told you it would be better than sitting at home and you couldn't agree more.

When you reached the building he stood with you as you paused outside and took a deep breath before slowly pushing the door open and walking in. You had barely taken a step when there was a loud squeal and you were suddenly tackled by a very excited dog hybrid. Yoongi didn't drop your hand as Taehyung's arms squeezed you, his tail wagging a million miles a minute.

"I'm so so so happy you're back! And not just because this job is impossible alone but also because I missed you so much!" He said, burying his face in your shoulder an inhaling deeply.

You chuckled, hugging him back with one arm. "You're gonna strangle me and then you'll be alone forever," you joked and he loosened his grip and pulled back a bit. "But I missed you too," you said, grinning up at him.

"This place sucks without you," he said, smiling down at you.

"It really does," Yoongi agreed, smiling at you as well.

"Shut up you guys," you replied, blushing a little. Your gaze fell to the bar and you just looked at it for a minute. You shifted uneasily. "The blood's gone, right?" You asked no one in particular.

"No, we left the blood," Taehyung said, rolling his eyes and heading over to the bar to get things ready.

"Of course the blood is gone baby," Yoongi said softly, giving your hand a little squeeze. "You don't have to go back there, we can go home and you can find somewhere else to work."

"No," you shook your head. "I'm fine, I can do this." You crossed the room and walked behind the bar, dropping Yoongi's hand and he followed you along it from the other side watching you closely, his long black tail swishing behind him. You looked around, breathing for a few moments, letting the familiarity of the place wash over you. You looked up at the cat who was watching you carefully. You smiled. "This feels right. Better than I thought," you said, nodding.

"Good," he replied.

"Whiskey?"

"Please." You poured him one and passed it to him, but he was pouting as he accepted it. "I wanted the good kind," he said, his lips pushed out as he spoke, his hand toying with the glass as he peered at you through his lashes.

"Earn it then alley cat," you teased, winking at him.

"Oh, I plan to," he said, chuckling.

The shift was going well and it was almost eight o'clock when you heard the familiar beginnings of your newly published piece on the piano. Like the first time he had played it in the bar it was as though everyone paused to listen, the darkly beautiful melody washing over the room like a magic spell, capturing the attention of the patrons. When it modulated to the major key at the end you couldn't help but smile at Yoongi's back as you remembered him saying that the major was how he felt now. You hoped you could make him feel the way this sounded forever.

When it was finished Yoongi stood quickly to a smattering of applause. He turned and raised his hands to capture everyone's attention.

"Oh god what is he doing?" You murmured, Taehyung snickering next to you.

"Excuse me everyone, I just wanted to announce that the last piece I just played was composed by our very own favorite bartender," he said, gesturing to you. You felt your face immediately blush crimson as every eye in the establishment turned toward you and you quickly lowered your head in a small bow, sending a glare at Yoongi. He smiled. "Thank you! We're all very proud of her," he said, beginning a new wave of applause. You felt your eyes shining and you nodded, bowing slightly again.
