Summary
She was living the dream. Well, the dream every little girl who grew up playing hockey alongside her big brothers could dream.
She'd made the Olympic Team. And Gold was within reach.
The only hitch? That the star player of the Men's Team and a player her brothers would be green with envy to learn she'd met always seemed to be turning up when she least expected. And sometimes when she least wanted.
Especially since it wasstarting to feel like it wasn't much of a hitch at all...

I suppose that, even though I'm not a hockey fan despite being a Canadian, it was probably inevitable that an idea like this would pop into my head.... Hockey does seem to be rather inescapable in this country... ;P
Though, I will admit, I don't mind Olympic Hockey. Which is probably why this one is another idea that centres around the Olympics. We'll blame my other Olympic idea for causing this one to resurface. I actually first got the idea during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, if you can believe it.
Those were great games....
