Human Name: Sonora Rosario Kino
Gender: Female
Age: 20 Years Old
Before Statehood: The region was explored and sparsely settled by the Spanish in the 16th and 17th centuries. By 1637, the province of Nueva Navarra was created; it was later renamed Sonora in 1648. In 1691, the province joined with Sinaloa to create the Provincias de Sonora, Ostimuri, y Sinaloa. When Mexico became independent from Spain, Sonora and Sinaloa were separated into states in 1823, but then they were reunited in 1824. From 1831 onward, Sonora became its own state again.
Statehood: January 10, 1824 (12th)
Hair Color: Medium Brown
Eye Color: Harvest Gold
Notable Traits: Long hair in braided pigtails. Sometimes, she'll sport reading glasses. Typically, she wears a red blouse, a yellow skirt, and a pair of leather boots; sometimes she'll sport a cowboy hat. Some of the accessories she wears include a desert sunflower in her hair (representing the City of Hermosillo) and rosary beads. She has a Mexican wolf pup as a companion.

Personality: Blunt and Stuck-up. Beware, her charming appearance can deceive anyone who hasn't heard of her sharp tongue. Normally, she keeps to herself, however, she won't hesitate to make snide comments, especially toward strangers who she views with great suspicion. Despite her cold attitude, once her trust has been gained, she becomes somewhat tolerant. On a side note, she's quite disappointed with her sister, Sinaloa, in recent years.
