Entitled Mom Thinks Her Son Deserves my $2000 Gaming PC, Entitled Kid Almost Dies

Background: I am a 16 y/o avid gamer and I hope to become a professional streamer someday. To upgrade the quality of my streams I bought a new CPU from Amazon, but since the part was damaged in shipping, and some miscommunication they accidentally sent me 2 of them, though I only paid for one (and this is like a $400 CPU). I decided to advertise the extra one for sale or trade on craigslist. Eventually I found a guy who was willing to trade some good parts for it, and I asked to meet at Starbucks (I always meet people in a public place when dealing off craigslist). I brought my whole PC setup (PC, monitor, mouse, keyboard) to make sure the parts worked correctly. I set up my PC at an empty table and checked that the parts worked well. Once I was sure they worked, the guy I was trading with left, and I began to play some games to see how much of an improvement it was. This is when EK notices me, and walks over.

EK - Entitled Kid

EM - Entitled Mom

SE - Starbucks Employee

EK stood behind me for a couple minutes while I played ArmA 3, eventually asking if he could play.

EK - Can I play your computer game?

I looked around for a moment for his mom but didn't see EM, she was probably in the line ordering coffee.

Me - Uhh, no, this game is a little mature for you, sorry.

EK - Awwww, please?

Me - Sorry man-

EK interrupts me

EK - Please with a cherry on top!

Before I can even say no for a third time, EK smiles and begins to try to get on my lap so he can play (I guess his mom always says yes when he says "with a cherry on top")

I put my hands in front of him so he can't climb up, but this makes EK loose his balance and fall over onto the floor. At first I think he might be hurt, but then he just looks up at me, looking annoyed more than anything. I think everything's ok, but then I heard loud footsteps coming from the direction of the cashier.

EM - WHAT DID YOU DO!! HOW DARE YOU PUSH MY BABY ONTO THE FLOOR, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, IM CALLING THE POLICE!!!

Me - Uhh, ma'am, your son was trying to climb onto my lap-

EM - I DONT CARE, THERE IS NO REASON YOU SHOULD EVER PUSH A BABY *EM looks at EK* Sweetie, are you ok?

I look around to see if anyone will help me, and notice SE (behind the counter) watching the situation unfold

EK, who had been fine before now begins to sprout some tears and looks down at the ground.

EM - YOU MADE HIM CRY, HOW DARE YOU

Again I tried to explain to her what happened

Me - Ma'am, he asked if he could play my game, but I told him no because it's too violent for him, so he tried to climb on me

EM - Whatever! He probably deserves that game more than you! Look what you did to him! *She begins to wipe the tears off EK's face, then looks back at me* "If he wants to play he should play."

Me - Im sorry, but I'm not going to let your son play on my computer, besides I have to leave soon

EM - Well then leave your game here so he can play

Me - That's not going to happen, I have spent a lot of money on my computer, I'm not just going to give it to him.

EM - Well he deserves it more than you, he's going to play. Give him your computer or else!

While EM and I continue arguing, I noticed EK crawling on the floor. Remember, I had just swapped out some parts in my PC, so one of the side panels on my case is removed so I could have full access to the interior. EK crawls over to the computer, and starts to reach inside to grab at one of the RAM chips. When a computer is plugged in, you should NEVER reach inside because you can get electrocuted super easily. Before he could reach in, I grabbed EK's hand and moved him to the side.

EM -GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY SON *looks at SE* Do something, he just assaulted my child!!

SE walks over and I explain the situation to him even though EM continuously interrupts me. SE looks at EM

SE - Ma'am, if you don't calm down we're going to have to ask you to leave, you are being very disruptive

EM - You're kicking ME out! HE JUST TRIED TO KILL MY BABY!

SE - I'm not going to ask you again ma'am you have to leave or I will call the police

EM gives me the dirtiest look I have ever seen in my life before scooping up her child and storming out as fast as she can. I apologized to SE for the situation but he says it's fine. As I'm packing up, SE comes back over and hands me a Frappuccino (which are my favorite). I told him I didn't order anything but he says it was EM's drink, she left before he finished making it. I thanked him and left in a pretty good mood all things considered
