Journey to the Mist!(Read the chapter after this one first!)

Third person's P.O.V
          "Sasuke, here at point B," his voice muffled through the mic.
          "Sakura, at point C!" A long pause began as they all awaited the voice of Naruto and Hana.
          "...Naruto here at point A, dattebayo!"
          "Naruto, you're slow," Kakashi spoke through. Another long pause, this time waiting for Hana to speak up but nothing was heard.
         "Hana? What's your position?" Kakashi asked, waiting for an answer.
         "Hana?" Kakashi repeated. A sound finally erupts from the speaker, a purring sound filled their ears.
         "Hana-chan? A-Are you purring?" Naruto stuttered, as he said this the other males' faces went red.
"Of course not, I have the cat you've been chasing after in my lap," The girl replied, petting the small and adorable brown cat.
"Can you verify? Does he have the ribbon on his right ear?" Kakashi asked. Hana replied with a muffled yes. The squad moves in to see Hana petting the cat calmly. The males of the group couldn't help but blush, red spreading around their cheeks.
"And we got him!" Naruto exclaimed, taking the cat away from Hana, startling it and causing it to scratch him. The two fell to ground with Naruto hissing in pain and Tora... just hissing and scratching.
"Naru-kun... give Tora to me," Hana said as she held out her hand for the cat, Naruto handed to her and almost instantly the cat calmed down and purred in Hana's arm, brushing it's tail against her skin.
"Okay then, lost pet Tora captured, mission accomplished," Kakashi said.
"Isn't there a mission with greater sense of emergency?! I hate cats!" Naruto yelled through the mic, causing their eardrums to burst.

"Ohhh! My cute Tora! I was worries to death!" The Madame Shijimi hugged and squeeze the cat. Everyone sweatdropped while Naruto grinned evily. The Hokage sat next to Iruka as they looked at the scene in fromt of them.
"Haha! Stupid cat! It deserves that!" Naruto laughed.
Hana gulped in fear seeing the poor cat crying.
"No wonder it ran away," Sakura muttered.
"I'm pretty sure this counts as animal abuse," Hana remarked, staring at the lady and Tora.
"The next mission for squad 7 is... Among them is babysitting the chief Councillor's boy... Helping with digging potatoes, eh..." Lord Third's voice got interrupted by Naruto.
"No! No! No!" He exclaimed, making an 'X' with his arms.
"We're not gonna babysit! I want a real mission! Come on Old man!" Naruto whined.
'He's got a point,' Sasuke thought.
'He's such a pain,' Sakura sighed.
'I knew this was coming,' Kakashi frowned. Iruka slammed his hands on the desk and started yelling at Naruto.
"How dare you! You're just a brand new genin with no experience. Like everyone else, you start with simple missions to develop your skills and prove yourself!" Iruka snapped.
"Are you serious?! Babysitting is not a mission, it's a stupid-- GAH!" A smack upside the head from Kakashi stopped Naruto's sentence and made him fall flat on his face.
"Naru-kun/ Will you put a lid on it?" Kakashi and Hana said at the same time with Hana helping Naruto up.
"Naruto, it seems you don't understand the tasks you've been given. Listen, many different kinds of request come into our village everyday. From babysitting to assassination," Lord Third says he starts gesturing to the scrolls of different ranks mission on his desk.
"These requests have been reported, analysed and ranked 'A', 'B', 'C', and 'D', depending on their difficulty. We ninja are also ranked by ability. Hokage at the top, jonin, chunin, and genin at the bottom. At the highest level, we select the missions and assign them to the ninjas with the appropriate skills and experience. And if the mission is successful, we receive a fee that supports our village and our work. Since you are still genin and just starting down the shinobi path. You are given 'D' level assignments of course," the Hokage finished, only to realised that they weren't even paying attention.
"So, I went to Ichiraku's ramen yesterday and tried the Miso ramen, so I was thinking to try something new," Naruto spoke as everyone paid attention to him.
"Are you even listening?!" Lord Third yelled.
"Oh, sorry," Kakashi scratched the back of his head sheepishly.
"Gah! You always lecture me like you're my grandfather or something. But I'm not the little brat, I'm a ninja now and I want a ninja mission!" Naruto exclaimed, holding his head up high stubbornly, which Hana couldn't help but giggle at his reaction. Iruka and the Hokage smiled at his behaviour.
"So be it," Lord Third said. The squad's ears perked up hearing this.
"Since, you are so determined, I'll give you a 'C' ranked mission. You'll be bodyguards on a mission,"
"Really?! Yes!" Naruto cheered, hugging Hana tightly and almost sucking the life out of her.
"Who are we guarding? A princess, a feudal lord?!" Naruto exclaimed excitedly, basically buzzing.
"We're gonna guard a drunk bridge builder," Hana said bluntly, causing everyone to look at her weirdly, to which she shrunk back.
"Send our visitor in!" The Hokage called. The squad looked back at the door as a man drinking sake, the smell of alcohol blurred Hana's senses.
"What the-- a bunch of snot nosed kids?" The man who Hana recognised as Tazuna said, taking a sip of his sake, this caught their attention. Sakura moved closer to Hana.
"How'd you know that it was--" Sakura was cut off by Tazuna.
"And you, the little one with the idiotic look on your face. You really expect me to believe you're a ninja?" Tazuna said as he leaned against the doorframe.
"Haha! Who's the little one with the idiotic look on their face?!" Naruto laughed. Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto, and Hana lined up from shortest to tallest. Sasuke was the tallest, then followed by Sakura, then Naruto, and finally Hana. Hana however, took no offense to this, knowing he was talking about Naruto.
"Hey! How dare you talk about Hana-chan like that!?" Naruto yelled, pointing an accusing finger at him.
"I was talking about you!" Tazuna retorted. Naruto blinked before reacting. He lunged at Tazuna, but Kakashi stopped him in time.
"I'll demolish you!"
"You can't demolish the client, Naruto, it doesn't work that way" Kakashi sighed as he held the boy back.
"I am Tazuna, a master bridge builder. I have to return to my country, I'm building a bridge there to change our world. And I expect you to get me there safely, even if it means giving up your life," he hissed.

The squad was no outside the gates of Konoha with backpacks full of supplies.
          "Yeah! Alright!" Naruto exclaimed, bringing his arms up in the air.
          "What are you getting so excited about?" Sakura asked, standing next to Sasuke.
          "This is the first time, I've ever left the village, I'm a traveler now, dattebayo!" Naruto grinned, looking around excitedly, causing Hana to giggle.
          "Naru-kun, you might want to calm down," Hana giggled. Naruto stopped to look at her and swung an arm over her shoulder, she giggled at Naruto's childish grin and didn't take notice of how close her face was to his. However their
teammates did. Kakashi and Sasuke rushed over to tear the two apart. Kakashi cleared his throat.
          "Hey! Am I supposed to believe that I can see trust my life to this runt?" Tazuna asked, pointing at Naruto, whom which glares back, a deadly look on his face.
          "He's with me and I'm a jonin. I'll be watching him. There's no need to worry," Kakashi assured, standing in between Naruto and Hana. Naruto continues to glare at Tazuna, crossing his arms as Tazuna's words stuck in his mind.
          'Why do we have to guard this old geezer? Man....' Naruto thought angrily.
          "Hey! Never insult a ninja! It's big mistake! And I'm one of the greatest ninjas ever! Some day I'll become Hokage and you'll look up to me. My name is Naruto Uzumaki, remember it well!" Naruto snapped.
          "Hokages' are powerful and wise, you are puny and brainless. The day you become Hokage, I'll sprout wings and fly," Tazuna scoffed, causing Naruto to yell at him some more and try to attack him, but luckily Kakashi was there to hold him back.
          "I told you, you can't kill the client, moron," Kakashi sighed, holding the boy back by his collar. Hana sighed as she remembers what happens next on this journey.

          "Say... Tazuna-san. Your country is the land of Waves, right? Aren't there ninja in that land too?" Sakura asked. The group walked through the forest continuing there journey.
          "No, there's no ninjas in the Land of Waves. But in other nations, where cultures and customs are different, ninjas are reside," Hana said.
          "Where'd you learn that Hana?" Sakura asked. Hana chuckled sheepishly and shrugged.
          "I read a lot of books," she answered. Sakura nodded, satisfied with the answer. Sasuke moved closer to Hana and started walking side by side with her, Naruto of course takes notice of this.
          'That Teme is totally trying to win over Hana!' Naruto thought, growling silently, he as well moved closer to Hana and started walking with her, Sasuke and Naruto glared at each other as electricity sparked through their eyes. Sakura sees what was going on and her eyes averted to Hana who was minding her own business.
          'What's so good about Hana anyway? Why does Sasuke-kun like her so much?' The pink haired girl asked herself, silently glaring at Hana in jealousy. The group walked over a bridge and continued their way until Hana's and Kakashi's eyes caught a puddle of water in the middle of nowhere.
          'We must be really close to the fight scene if there's already a puddle,' Hana thought in caution.
Two spikes chains captured Kakashi and constricting him until he was basically cut into pieces. The squad's eyes widen seeing the scene and Hana couldn't help but feel queasy when she saw the scene right before her eyes. Sakura's scream brought Hana out her state of queasiness.
          "K-Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto stuttered. The demon brothers, Gouzu and Meizu appeared behind Naruto, he froze at the spot, their laugh sent shivers down his spine.
          "The next one. Now it's your turn..." they muttered. Naruto quickly spun around in fear as the two got ready to attack, their chains already whipping around.
          "Naru-kun!" Hana yelled from above. Gouzu and Meizu looked help to see Hana above them. She took out her kunai and deflect the chains while doing a crescent kick at Meizu and Gouzu.
          'Her kicks are fast! I couldn't even see her move!' Gouzu thought as he fell down.
          'She's strong!" Meizu thought as pushed himself up from the ground and the two brothers slashed their chains at her. She leaped back and bent over to avoid the chains, fortunately Sasuke quickly got into action and grabbed a kunai and a shuriken, he threw them causing them to pin the chains to a tree. Gouzu and Meizu's eyes grew wide.
          "I can't get loose!" Gouzu growled. Sasuke leaped up and kicked both of them, sending them back and detaching the chains from them. The Meizu headed for Naruto again, this time using his claws and managed to scratch Naruto's hand, while Gouzu ran towards Tazuna, to whom Sakura got in front of. Sasuke and Hana got in front of Sakura. Just when Gouzu was about to attack, Kakashi appeared and captured Gouzu and Meizu in a headlock.
          "But you were--!" Naruto exclaimed, he looked over to where Kakashi's corpse was supposed to be to see a bunch of  logs lying around.
          "You used the substitution jutsu," Naruto realised.
          "Naruto, I'm sorry I didn't help you right away. I didn't think you were going to freeze up like that," Kakashi said as he walked away. Tazuna sighed in relief.
'They saved me after all,' he thought surprisingly
"Good job Sasuke, very smooth. You, too Sakura, and great job looking after your teammate Hana," Kakashi praised. Naruto stood up and looked at them in shock.
'I was useless! Sasuke was so cool like he'd done this 1000 times! Didn't he feel scared at all? He looks so calm, not a scratch on him and I was so lame, he and Hana-chan has to come up and save me. Ugh! Why can't I keep up with him!' He thought in envy.
"Hey, Naruto," Sasuke called.
"Yeah?"
"You're not hurt are you? Scaredy cat?" Sasuke teased, angering Naruto even more.
"It's fine Naru-kun, something as little as freezing up shouldn't bring our next Hokage down? Right?" Hana smiled at him, Naruto stared at her smile and a blush ran up his face to call the butterflies to evacuate to his stomach. Sasuke looked at Hana and Naruto for a moment before scoffing in jealousy.
"Naruto! Stay still, these guys have poison in their claws, we need to take it out if you quickly. You have to open the wound and drain out the poisoned blood," Kakashi said. Naruto stared down at his wound.
"I think we should head back to treat Naruto's wound, back in the village we could take him the doctor," Sakura said. Naruto watched them as they exchanged dialogue and growled. He took out a kunai and stabbed his hand where the poison was.
"Naru-kun!" Hana yelled in worry, even though she already knew the nine-tails was already handling The situation. She laid her backpack down and took out some bandages and some relief oils she brought with her, preparing for this situation.
"Naru-kun, if you lose anymore blood, you're gonna die," Hana repeated what Kakashi would've said. Naruto face turned pale.
"What! I'm too young to die! Hana-chan help me!" He exclaimed, running around like an idiot.
"Alright, alright, give me your hand," Hana sighed as Naruto calmed down and Hana grabbed his wrist, she took some of the bandages, before wrapping the bandages around it, she applied ointment to the wound.
"This should stop your hand from getting an infection" Hana said as she started wrapping his hand.
"Thanks Hana-chan," he said, blushing. Both Sasuke and Kakashi looked at scene and glared at Naruto.
'Why does that loser always get Hana's attention,' Sasuke gritted his teeth.
'Oh, great. Don't tell me I fell for my student and now I'm getting jealous over her,' Kakashi sighed. Hana finished bandaging Naruto's hand up and stood up, staring at what lies up ahead,
'If I want to make my mark in this world, then I'm gonna have to survive this mission first,' Hana thought in worry.

Was this chapter okay?... No? Okay, then. Sorry if this chapter was really short, I was just following the plot of this episode and the episode turned out... short. Updates are gonna be really messy from now on, it won't be once a week anymore, since my schedule is just really messy. I'm really busy because of school work, but I'm still cramming this story in. Also I was thinking about like time-skipping to when the fight scenes are over, but then again the fight scene will reveal something shocking about the Main OC here, so I'll see you guys next week.
