Hana's Birthday Romance: Special

A/N: This doesn't follow the plot of the story at all and it doesn't follow the current date as of right now Sept. 29, 2019.

Third Person's P.O.V

         Today is September 21st. Just a regular, normal day with nothing new planned. Team 7 stood at their usual meeting spot waiting for Kakashi.

          "Why is he always late?" Naruto groaned while Hana yawned and read the journal to kill time.

           "Oh be quiet, Naruto!" Sakura crossed her arms and held her head high while her inner self was thinking about the same things as Naruto was.

Sasuke stood apart from his team, stealing glances at Hana once in a while.

At last, Kakashi arrives and walks towards them with something held behind his back.

           "Where have you been?! We've been waiting here for hours!" Naruto and Sakura shouted in unison.

           "Well, you see--!" Kakashi was interrupted by Naruto.

           "Let me guess, you got lost on the path of life?' He mocked sarcastically and Kakashi sweat-dropped.

           "No-- I was shopping for a gift for Hana," he explained and the rest of the team besides Hana raised an eyebrow.

           "A gift? For what?" She asked. Sasuke and Naruto were curious too.

           "For her Birthday of course!" Kakashi laughed and they looked dumbstruck before twisting their head 360 to look at Hana who chuckled awkwardly.

           "Hehe, how'd you find out?"

           "I read your file of course," he explained and Hana had to retorts for that.

           "Hana-chan! You didn't tell us it was your birthday today!" Naruto whined and Sakura nodded in agreement with Naruto for once. Even Sasuke silently nodded.

             "Well! Hana-chan! Happy Birthday!" Kakashi exclaimed and pushed the present towards her. She hesitantly took the gift, noticing there were small drilled in holes on top of the box.

           Is this...

Hana had an idea of what she thought it was and got even more excited when she felt movement. She opened it and she couldn't help but smile brightly. Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto all stared shockingly at the gift.

Naruto couldn't help but think, Was that the rabbit  I almost killed on the Land of  Waves mission...?

Inside the box were two bunnies, one white bunny, and one black. She squealed in delight and laughed cheerily. She set the box down and sat down for the two to snuggle in her lap. She set them down to hug her sensei tightly, but she could only reach his waist for her height.

            "Sensei, the gift's amazing! I love you!" She exclaimed while hugging him. Kakashi's face would've been deemed tomato red if it wasn't for the mask covering his face.

             "Haha, you think too highly of me," he chuckled and patted his student's head before sweatdropping, feeling two deadly glares pointing at him from two different directions. Sasuke glaring daggers at him from the back and Naruto at the front while Sakura swooned over the bunnies.

              "You know, Hana-chan. I actually do think I have the perfect present for you," Sakura said as she stroked the white bunny's head.
