Chapter 6 - "Alex"

Chapter 6

"Hey wake up!"

Huh? Who is that?

"Miaaaa"

Familiar... I think I heard it somewhere.

"Mia, wake up!"

Is that...

"Mia, the school bell has rung so wake up!"

Anthony?

"Mia!"

"I'm awake!"

I shot up and hit Anthony's forehead.

"Aah!" We both said as we rub our foreheads.

"S-sorry! I-I didn't mean-"

"It's cool, it's cool," He raised his hand up, signalling me to stop talking, and started chuckle.

I swear, it is like he cast a spell towards me, even I love his chuckles.

I began to blush when he rubbed my head, he stopped rubbing my head when we both stood from our position.

Gosh, I miss the warmth from his hands...

"Let's go?" He reached out his hand while his other was holding the knob. I took his hand and he opened the door a bit to check if the coast is clear.

Didn't the bell already ring?

"I tho-"

"Let's go," Anthony said in a whisper voice. He opened the door slowly... Then suddenly...

CREEEEAAAAAAKKK

The hall monitor saw us...

Wait...

A hall monitor?!

'No, no, no, no! I thought the coast is already clear?!' I started to panic.

"Hey, you! Stop right there!" The hall monitor screamed and point at us then he started to run.

"Antho- huh?" I look at Anthony and saw that he was gone.

Gone?

H-he left me...?

I came back to my senses when somebody caught both of my arms.

Great, I got caught...

"And what are you doing here without a pass?" The hall monitor asked me. My goodness, he is very close to my ear!

I tried to move my head away from him, showing him how uncomfortable I am.

"Hey, Bob" A male voice called out to the hall monitor, who I assume it was Bob.

"My name is not f*cking Bob! It's–" The Hall monitor looks at the guy called out to him.

It was Alexander.

I look at Alexander and he has this look that he wants to kill this guy...

Rip Hall Monitor...

He was loved by all...

Well, except for Alexander, of course.

I mentally laughed at my own joke, but at the same time, I mentally scolded myself because of the situation I am in.

The hall monitor coughs and said, "Alex, where's your hall pass?" He reached his hand out to Alexander shakingly. 

"Why are you calling me 'Alex'? I don't remember giving you permission to call me that," He said and looks at him with a murderous glare.

He grabbed the hall monitor's hand and starts twisting his arm and breaking his fingers one by one.

The hall monitor started screaming in pain and pleading him to stop. I stood there in horror, watching this horrifying scene unfold.

Is he mad at a stupid nickname?

"Aah, F*ck! Stop!" The hall monitor plead to Alexander to stop.

I want to say his nickname but as a narrator and character of this story, I am not that stupid to risk my own fingers to be broken. 

Alexander releases his arm and he looks at him with a scary glare. The hall monitor whimpered and sniffs while holding his soon-to-be broken arm.

"Beg," Alexander said in a deep but very scary voice that will send shivers to your body.

"I'm sorry!" The hall monitor puts his hands together, crying out the apology that Alexander wants.

THUD

"Not only an apology, down!" He commanded him. He pushed the hall monitor to the floor with a loud 'thud'.

I'm just standing behind them, watching this scene with pure shock!

The hall monitor's blue eyes started to widen as his tears kept flowing, then he started to bow down to Alexander.

"I-I'm s-sorry! I won't call your nickname again!" He shakily apologizes to Alexander.

"Out of my sight," Alexander said in a deep voice. The hall monitor started crawling away from the both of us.

It's just me and Alexander,

Alone

I looked at Alexander with wide eyes, and my mind started processing on what just happened.

"Why..?" I said in a soft voice, Alexander stared at my blue eyes with a curious look.

"Huh? You saying something?" Alexander slowly walks up to me.

"Why did you do that?! He just called your nickname and you... You... You beat him up!" I yelled at him as I slowly backing away him. He just looked at me as if he was saying 'Yea, I just want to beat him up to a pulp just for fun!'

"Mia..." He lowered his head as his bangs covered his black eyes.

He suddenly grabbed me by the arm and looked at me with a serious glare.

Great, I'm dead...

He started opening his mouth without tearing his eyes off mine.

"Mia... " Alexander called out my name again.

"What? Just say it, I don't have all day!" I said, but the looks in his eyes are now different,

His eyes are full of sadness

What's going on with Alexander?
