Chapter 25

A fell into a deep sleep and began to dream...

A dream that I never dreamt before...

That would traumatize me forever...

I was wearing a white suit, and I was barefooted. The background was bright white.

I couldn't see anything, just white. No people, no sounds. Just pure white with complete silence.

Am I in heaven?

Somehow, I was running or chasing this girl that has a familiar blonde and wavy shoulder-length hair.

This girl was wearing a long, white sleeveless gown. She was also running barefooted.

"Catch me if you can~!" Her familiar voice began filling the empty void.

"Mia...? Wait! Come back!" I ran as fast as I could to catch up to her.

The girl looked back and I could see her smiling so bright. Her hair was covering her eyes, like a curtain.

Sadly, I couldn't catch up with her, she was so fast that my legs couldn't even catch up her speed.

She stops and faces me, still wearing that smile. I stopped running, and breathe heavily from all the endless chasing game.

"Jeez, I thought you were working out..." She pouts and puts her hand behind her back as she looks in a different direction. I blushed at her cute little actions.

Cute...

"No worries, I'm also tired... Let's rest for a while!" She sighs, which given me the opportunity to walk closer to her.

I reach out my hand and grabbed her arm but, the moment I held her arm, it electrocuted me.

I release her arm immediately and hiss in pain. I tried the second time but it did the same thing. I look at my hand and it earned burn marks.

Damn...

"Why are you still after me...?" I look at Mia and saw her tears streaming down, "Why did you have to save me? Didn't you hate me also?" Her words made my heart sank.

"Mia... It's not-!" I tried to caress her cheek but it also electrocuted me. I remove my hand away from her immediately.

"' It's not like that'? 'You've got it all wrong'? Isn't obvious...? You hated me... You are just like the others... You wanted me to die... I... I should've been... If you didn't..." She starts sobbing and starts to choke from all the crying, unable to finish her words.

"L-Listen... I..." I tried to reach out to her again, ignoring what will happen to me if I touch her again.

"Don't! Touch! Me!" Her tears turn to blood, her dress turns into bloody red.

What the f*ck is going on...?

I felt something on my arm, I look down and it was blood. I touch my face wondering where the blood is coming from until I felt something climbing down my forehead.
